You forgot to mention that when youre in any ng+ you can't fast travel anymore🫠

I was going to install and try the mod but thanks to this video I decided to rather not because all the gameplay I like these games for basically went out of the window. Now it's all trivialized down to simply DPSing the enemy as fast as possible until it's dead like in some diablo or something. And the talismans that completely negate rot and poison are downright stupid. Might as well just have replaced the lake of rot with lake of water. Ew, no thanks.

Would starting somewhere like Liurnia mess up certain questlines?

My main complaint regarding the mod is balancing. The new mod spells are really strong, but so are the new modded bosses. So I feel likr I need a powerful build to fight the modded bosses. Thus I explore, I find upgrades etc. Then I fight the normal bosses and they are pushovers. All the more, weapons are absolutely broken.

Anyone who comes from DS3 knows Convergence is a BIG deal. In DS3 it changed the entire game, but unlike Cinders Mod, it had consistency.

Huge turn off for me regarding this mod is that they halved the dodge roll i-frames.

This mod and reforged have me contemplating rebuying the game on pc. I only just bought it on PS when SOTE came out, so not sure if im ready to drop the $$ again but these mods really change the game play.

I love all the cool spells convergence adds but the path and remanent system isn't my favorite its too direct and doesn't encourage exploring all these cool new areas outside of your class. and everything is way over tuned

No way, mod developer added active mana regen(regenerating some mana then hitting enemy)

this mod is STILL getting updates, its insane. the dlc is just going to add so much more to it.

Reforged has some amazing new mechanics but overall its no fun to play at all, for me at least. You cant go here, cant go there, cant do this or that... ok so how about I go back to convergance and have some fun ;p You can't even fight at the start cuz you have stamina for like 1 dagger attack and a roll, that felt straight up dumb.

There's a Fundamentalist incantation that teleports you a decent distance forward, based on how fast you're moving. Managed to speedrun Ordina with it, and then naturally killed myself 20-ish times making my way down the Haligtree with it too. 10/10 mod.

The problem I have is that you can only see the base game for the "first time", just ONE TIME. I've got very good memory. I love what they're doing with this mod, but it's going to take new maps and worlds for me to really replay ER :(

It’s got some good features but some are mega annoying - e.g. the area around Fort Faroth is screwed, stupid dragons doing invisible one shots at you without having aggroed them and nowhere in their vicinity. Ridiculous. The shard reward system at Anticipation would be good if you didn’t have to defeat a boss, forego their gear at the Round Table to pay 10K ( 2 shards ) which buys cookbooks - fab - everything worth having is 10 or more shards. Played it for a while but have returned to the vanilla game.
