How do you think the Lilly Drip will go with the Hario Switch?
I never had a chance to try this combo so only by what my intuition is telling me, I say that if you decide to leave the coffee immersed first for some time, the grounds should have enough time to extract fully and well enough without Lilly Drip. On the other hand, everything is always worth experimenting, so if you'll have a chance to get your hands on Lilly Drip, try it out and let me know what you think of the results! great video. thanks for taking the plunge for us 😀 if i want great tasting coffee and the benefit of mushrooms, i could just drink a tasty cup and then eat some healthy mushrooms. shit doesnt have to be combined all the time. so are they really trying to "save humanity" here, or are they just having financial interests substituting a part of the expensive coffee by cheap mushrooms? shame on anyone who thinks evil of it

How many clicks for a Comandante will you suggest for V60?
My standard is 21 clicks, and then I work from there if any particular coffee needs some small adjustments ✌️
Great you rinse the filter!! I have seen many not rinsing or others rinsing but not discarding the water!!!
I sometimes too don't discard the water afterward, but it's more accidentally than intentionally 😅
Greetings Michalina. There are a few things you did incorrectly with the 25P. Just like you did not remove your Moka pot from the heater while it was brewing you should not remove the 25P from the heat source when it has reached temperature. You adjust the heat source so the pressure remains the same while you slowly open the tap and have your coffee gently flows into your cup, no splashing, sputtering or anything like that. Usually around one bar, if you are still having difficulty keeping the pressure from going up you can open the steam wand a bit to let some pressure out! I usually get the pressure to two bar and frot the milk, then while the milk rest, I do the coffee. Excellent coffee every time! The steam is definitely not suppose to come out of the handle safety valve, that valve is a little metallic seal and if that seals break and let the steam it is because you have let so much pressure build in the machine that before it explodes the safety valve opens. (!). If I am not going to just stare at the 25P while it is building pressure I usually open the steam wand a tiny bit and as the pressure build-up I can hear it and come to the machine. Cheers, a.

Hi! Thank yoi for checking out my channel :) To be fair, I think not using filters will result in quite dusty coffee. I assume all the fines would ended up in your server. But yes, you can reuse them, as long as they are rinsed well:)

@@dmelein if you decrease the amount of water, you will end up with more intense brew, however I would not the coffee to have the same texture or intensity as espresso. for that you would need a pressure, syphons are not designed for that :)

Great demonstration. Thank you! May I ask if you need to exchange the filter every sigle time you make a coffee with the miniphon? I just bought mine after watching your video :) and I got 4-5 filter in the package. Are these filters for a single use or can I use them multiple times after washing?
Hello! :) I am very happy to hear that you bought one 🧡 you are gonna LOVE it! In terms of filters - I reuse them :) After every brew I make sure I clean it throughout - after I give it a good wash I keep it soaking in some little container with water for 20 min and rinse it again, pour fresh water and soak it again, and rinse it again - repeat until the water stays clear. Then I transfer the container with clean water and the filter in it into the fridge - low temperatures keep gye bacteria away for longer ;) Wouldn't let it sit there for too long though :) hope that helps a bit :)

Great information! As a coffee roaster I only purchase fair trade coffee to roast. I believe in supporting the farmers that work so hard. I am finding an increased awareness of the importance of this among my customers, many of whom will only buy fare trade. This is encouraging, but we have a long way to go in widening that circle. This video helps raise that awareness, so Thank You! 🙌😊✌️

Wiele nauki przede mną. A w sumie to jestem na poziomie 1. Poziom 0 to jest wtedy gdy czujesz, że pijesz kawę, lub nie czujesz, że pijesz kawę. Poziom 1 jest sporo bardziej zaawansowany. Czujesz, że pijesz kawę, i kawa smakuje, lub czujesz, że pijesz kawę, i kawa nie smakuje. Aby dostąpić poziomu 2 pewnie trzeba nauczyć się siorbać? 🙂
Nie trzeba :) Jak się siorbie, to kawa się "rozpryskuje" lepiej po wszystkich sensorach, ale nie jest to konieczne dla przejścia na poziom 2 ;) pozdrawiam! 🥰

No siema! I can see your point :) I'd say that the closest similar effect we would achieved with Clever Dripper though (in case when we keep the halve open all the time). I believe the Lilydrip is designed for those who don't want another dripper but got V60 and don't want to give up on it too quickly :P
Thank you for the Video and information but let me add my two cents. This way of brewing is Turkish, Greek, Georgian, and Balkan. it's not Mediterranean neither Arabic. Arabic coffee is a totally different way of roasting, grinding, and brewing. in most Arab countries the beans will be lightly roasted, almost at or before the first crack, and the grind size is very coarse. the brewing will be different than and brewing method, you'll add the coffee to the boiled water then simmer it for 15 minutes, after that, turn off the flame and keep it rest for another 10 minutes and finally enjoy it.
