Great review. Like you say not many reviews on this. I just bought the Sonik AXS XL V2. Anyone know what the difference between the Sonik AXS XL & the Sonik ASX XL V2? No reviews i can really find on the XL V2.

Hey guys. Can someone tell me if the LEDs are the same brightness on both alarm heads? I have had the SKS 1 since 2021. My reciver has only now started playing up (last weekend) and now looking at the SKS2 or the new direction sets. I just can't see why some people pay £500 for something that sits outside in all weather's 3ft away from a lake bed. 😊 any feedback would be great 👍

Good angling lads im gonna jump back on wide soon few gems in there back 2017 when you could cross the floating bridge and get right close to them lily pads i used to get up in the tree in spring and one day I was up there tree looking in the snages underneath me after looking down for few seconds i noticed a gold and silver shapes getting bigger as they come up in the water to the surface in the margin meant to be a 5-6 koi to go at in there I have a video somewhere of them both but I think someone who lives in the garden the pool goes in to feeds the fish there

Not the easiest of waters to fish to be fair. I've had some nice fish from there but blanked a fair few times as well. There are alot of kray fish in there though and they seem to love a pop up or balanced bait, which is probably what was happening in the night on that middle rod. Still worth going though, there's some lovely fish in there 👍👍👍

used this boat for the first time ever yesterday , i had trouble with the line getting caught in the propellers in the middle hopper so used the back instead worked a few times but sometimes the line would get caught in the back hopper and it would cause chaos any tips to avoid all this?

Why is it always you can be the only one on a lake and when the next guy turns up he has to set up next door??

Haha i love how you said youve had your days now 😂 ive noticed the sks1 the first alarm backdrop light stopped working on first alarm and receiver stopped responding to blue alarms backdrop. Well used it set i hope i only bought my sks1 last summer great alarm set and love the bivvy light ligting up bivvy when i get a run . I dont know why other compnaies dont do the bivvy light. Its definitely not a gimmick as you dont have to try and find a torch in the middle of the night when your half asleep . Great video well done

I have pretty much exclusively fished the wide this season setting myself a few goals (double carp, specimen crucian, 5lb tench) n after I dunno maybe 30-40 sessions so far I can definitely say you done good there with 3 good carp there immaculate cuz there rarely caught I’ve had a 15lb common out my goals so far but your right it’s a dead hard water for carp but you can bag up on good sized tench

I fished the Dandy two days ago. I only went for a quick 2/3 hours with virtually no tackle and just a chair. It was the peg literally opposite yours on the other side. I managed to catch two sizeable carp, both pushing double figures. And probably the biggest bream I have ever caught, it was a proper slab. Just for the record, I was using a Korda bait up method feeder with a four inch hook length, with a single piece of hair rigged corn. But the secret to my success recently has to be Sonubaits Super Crush method mix, that stuff is absolute fire!

My local waters - been waiting for this vlog since your first abortive attempt 😀. That right hand margin spot on the Dandy where you caught your first fish is a very productive spot & is very sort after so good water craft on your part to pick that. The Wide does have bigger Carp than the Dandy but there is a lot less of them and they are not caught that often (you can tell that by the quality of the fish), it's also a brilliant Tench water. Really enjoyed this vlog thank you. Is it the Castle next for you and Connor?
