What do you think of Cedric Grolet? I had the crossiant and the peach tart while in London last year. The tart was very nice but crossiant so so. Overpriced. BTW, a lot of this stores selling Chinese antique furniture, a lot of them not antique but brand new. They just produce with the old methods without nails and added some white dust to make it feels "old". I used to work as a store manager for one of the Chinese antique shops but they do sell the expensive hardwood like Huang Hua Li which can easily costs 10k for a cabinet and can pass down to future generations.

Whether PR or Expat is going to be tough, esp. children education and living costs. Singapore almost reach it limits where this tiny cram city state are able to put up with in Post-Covid pandemic??? Yet unbelievably more and more peoples are squeezing or flooding in, it baffles me.
