A Red Circle is a non-profit organization in North St. Louis County, MO. Our mission is to promote community betterment in North County, through a racial equity lens. The vision is a North County community that benefits from equitable investment which will lead to a healthy environment and food ecosystem, quality education, and opportunities for everyone to enjoy the arts. We have programs in education, community wellness and the arts. Get Involved!
Programs -
Education Advocacy: Education Advocacy Committee, Parent Cafés, and Student Advocates for Education (SAFE).
Community Wellness: North County Agriculture Education Center, Good Food Fridays, Healthy Flavor Community Garden and Market, Farmer Conservation and Support, God's bounty, and Chef's Pantry.
The Arts: The Creative Spot, Drumming 4 Peace Summer Camp, Art in the Garden, and Kwanzaa Show.

Celebrate Community & Culture! ✨
A Red Circle's Kwanzaa celebration is rooted in a cherished family tradition that began in the 1980s. Led by the Executive Director Erica Williams’ uncle, Damu Smith, the celebrations were held at their Aunt Joyce Coffey’s home in North St. Louis. This incredible family, known as the Black O’Kelleys, carries a legacy of pride and cultural celebration passed down through generations.
This year, we’re thrilled to have Lady J Huston, family historian and Community Arts Program Coordinator, playing a vital role in coordinating “Kwanzaa: The Village it Takes” on December 21, 2024, at St. Stephens Episcopal Church.
