I'm glad I''m not the only one who feels the same way about the dlc in this game like Shang Tsung, Quan Chi and Ermac should've been in the base roster this just proves why nrs rushed this game out.

Bro I literly feel the exact same way minus the part about the story because I wasn't a fan of the changes in the characters, and I just regret buying this expensive game thats so empty and messy.

I grew up playing MK since it came out. I still remember how excited I was when MK2 came out (still my fav!). MK1 disappointed the shit out of me. They did all the characters wrong, and it got Woke, (thanks “Stephanie”) It took me 2 weeks to stop playing it completely. SF6 and Tekken8 have been fire since their release. Keep it real my dawg! You got my sub because this video was great!!

The Saddest Thing about all of this MK1 Situation, is that Most of the People blame Ed Boon as well for all of this. Bro, he does everything he can, knowing he already has his years working for the Franchise. But WB is the Main Culprit here. They seem to struggle a lot at choosen the Easiest and Best Decisiones for Improving the State of the Game (seriously, it's hard ti bealive how tedious Invasions is, just like the Injustice 2 Multiverse Mode)... I really love playing it at some time periods, but Man! It saddest me that you can't handle and enjoy a long playthrough, because you'll ended to bored. That was something that never happened that often when I played MK11. It's almost been a year, and they taking too much at bringin' some New Good Stuff. I love MK, but I seriously yearned that Street Fighter 6 won the Best Fighting Game of 2023. Glad they did it and very well deserved. After the SFV Disaster, it's precious seeing how Capcom got recovered from its Darkest Years pretty well. NRS is now going through the SFV Situation... And a Big Bad one, unfortunetly

They could of had him as a side character with a good arc he’ll even his own doc but to make him main character instead of uhhh Musashi whatever, he looks bad ass but still it’s lame asf

I’m not white and this is such a disrespect. All the previous protagonists were historically ethnic race based on where they were located. The story itself might be based on a historical event, but to change the original protagonist from Asian to black is a disrespect. This is woke and pandering to one race. I bet yasuke was a side character but later changed to be the main. Yasuke was a retainer. There is no evidence what so ever he had a samurai title. Having a stipend and land doesn’t mean you are a samurai. And if he was a samurai he would have committed seppuka since his lord was stabbed from the back. Yasuke was imprisoned and released. He did not die at nobunaga side.

Every single AC game before this, had non historical protagonist who is native to the region. Be they black bayek, native american connor, italian ezio, or arab al-thair etc. But NOW in the age of wokism, they DEAD ASS ON PURPOSE, put in a historical figure yasuke into the game, and yasuke being a samurai is highly suspect, because as per japanese honor laws, a samurai has to commit suicide if their daimyo dies in an underhanded way, which nobunaga was backstabbed, trapped and burned alive by akechi. Which would mean BY honor and law, yazuke is duty bound to commit senpukku with nobunaga's death. Which he did not which means he is either a criminal ronin to be hunted and killed, or NEVER was a samurai to begin with, yasuke WAS give a stipend and salary, and given the title of page, ONLY because nobunaga likes to collect foreign things, like guns, cannons, weapons etc and he took a liking to the first tall black man he saw. And for yasuke to be around someone as important as nobunaga, he needed to have a proper title and salary, which he was given, and kept around as a curious trophy, nothing more and nothing else.

Yknow what’s fun? Having less base characters than the previous title. Ermac, Quanchi and Shang were all meant to be on the base roster. Shang got made a preorder exclusive like they usually do. Ermac they didn’t have time to finish although he was close to being done. Same for Quanchi however he wasn’t as far yet. Tf? Kombat pack used to be characters that they were newly developing specially for the game. Now only the guest characters and Takeda will be. Warner probs didn’t give the time for shit, but I think that was clear from the start.

Facts I’m a fan to

MK1 has a lot of things that have been fixed but still can be fixed to make it better. MK11 has a lot of grinding issues and took the fun out of it and had some online issues in the fighting as well. Mk 1 has brought back the issues of MK3 were the combos when you got into it you couldn't get out. MK9 solved this by having more breakers. Do that in MK1 as well so far the new patches have been a step in the right direction. Thing is that the WB rushed the programmers to release it instead of getting the fixes done. In the end a good game takes time but if you rush it then you have issues. As it goes going back to MK9 and balancing all the characters as well as 2 more combo breakers in would be an improvement. In all MK1 is more fun than MK11 and it won't take much to fix it.

Idk mk1, not dark enough, make the kameos tag team full playable characters, loose invasions. Bring back crypt type explorations. More customization for less. 11 was better. It’s like anything else these days. They just banking on y’all addictions to nostalgia. …..As goes MK the way of things like Star Wars….

I’m a huge mk fan, but mk1 is a hollow cash grab, and i feel like the designers now are tone def and have clear biases on what characters they put effort into. Ermacs design is trash, it’s literally a knock off Voldo design.
