January 2024 - Tried this on Chrome and it didn't work, nothing appeared in the name section. But then I did the same steps by switching the browser to Mozilla and it worked like a charm. Great tutorial, thanks for the help!

the biggest con of this method is the video gets downscaled by the browser to 480p or something like that

nope - name of video doesn't come up when I start playing (having followed all steps carefully) - name area remains blank. In fact a notice comes up that whoever told me to do this is trying to hack my computer!! Maybe it's a 2023 chante? Any suggestions?
