I have had my new pfaff 710 machine for just five days and it is a bit intimidating. This was so helpful! I will be watching this video again and again.
Fabulous demonstration thank you (you put the screw back in left handed because you didn't want your hand blocking the camera!!) Great job.
Скажите пожалуйста, у вас куплены для этой машины бесконечные пяльцы?
A very nice watch and demonstration,I was surprised how the stitches were gathering I would be disappointed with my self tension if my stitch looked like that, otherwise a very well made program. Thank you.❤
You're the best teacher ❤❤❤
Hello, how can I do free stiching with Pfaff 3.0 Passport? I have the special piece foot. Thank you🙏
Hi, please tell me , if I can use multi function foot control with this machine…. Thank you
Hvorfor kan I ikke oversætte / tale dansk. 😡
How many maxi stitches are there?
❤Thank you so very much. I haven't been able to find my manual so I found this tutorial and it is so much more helpful than the book. There are so many things that I have been doing wrong and not doing right. I've been so frustrated with my machine. I look forward to going for it tomorrow after a good nights sleep.
Sorry but ... clean fingernails would've been appreciated.
Thank you .. I hope you made more videos but I can’t find them
Great video and love the puss! Just about to use my machine again after a few years, and needed a refresher.
The 3 has a tension knob on top left that if your sewing something thick you can turn the knob and lessen up on the pressure. It brings the foot up just enough to give you a little more room. All the reviews i watched you are the only one that mentioned that
Passport 2 has no thread cutter. The 3 has cutter that will pull top thread and bottom threads and cut both at same time and then you can just start sewing agin without touching anything you dont have to find thread you just put fabric under and go love it
Actually that type of spool is meant for thread to come off with spool standing up. The little long spools are meant for thread to come off the end so you put those on the peg laying down and using the small push cap. Most people don't realize thread is meant to come off spools differently. That is one of the first things i learned when I was in tailoring School. Hope this i a useful tip. If anyone is interested in sewing it would be so beneficial and learn so much to do with sewing in tailoring School. Good luck
Does yours make a loud sound when first turning on? It buzzes and clunks like it’s adjusting itself but it’s so loud 😅
I've had this machine for ages but haven't used it for a couple of years, but I do remember that it makes quite a distinctive noise when starting up - you def know it's turned on!
I bought this machine which I love but I have an issue with the auto pivot. My needle down when I stop sewing is not raising the pressure foot. I’m assuming I need to take it to my dealer. 😢
Can you tell me where in the program I can erase a cross stitch or change to any other Cross Stitch stitches, like the mini or 3/4 CS? Thank you!
Thank you so so much! It's the best tutorial on the internet for my Pfaff. But what I struggled with for hours was trying to thread it in the left path. I hope my comment would be helpful to those who watched all the videos and read the manual and still couldn't get the part about "move the thread right to left". Even your video is the best quality and the cam shows the details. What I actually would like to add is: For threading the left path: Hold your thread on top with one hand, and under the path with the other hand. Make sure the needle is up. Then insert the thread from the right side of the path, and try moving it to the left, and catch the thread into the narrow space you can see going from top right to bottom left if you're standing above your machine. It looks so simple now. But really I got stuck there😂
I cannot get to 2.5 for stitch length it goes to 0.197 and it stops there
Bonjour, pouvez vous me dire si votre présentation existe en français ? je ne parle pas anglais et d'après les commentaires, votre vidéo est très complet. Merci de votre réponse. Bonne journée
Very informative video…thank you! One correction, however. It’s called a presser foot, not a pressure foot. When someone adjusts the amount of force applied to the fabric by the presser foot, it’s referred to as adjusting the presser foot pressure. Bit of a tongue twister!
Which ruler 1/4 or 1/8
Don’t you get a stylus with the machine instead of using your finger.
Does this machine have a stylus
Thank you for this info … I’ll watch it more than once to digest all that my new machine can/will do for me! 🧵
Lovely machine !🥰have a look at my pfaff, we love using it in our sewing class in Düsseldorf ruclips.net/video/E6Fd0_-YZik/видео.htmlsi=fy4zN9l3GBP0KuPZ
Wonderful demonstration Very clear in explaining each step of the way. 👏👏👏👏👏
Bonjour il n y a aucune vidéo en francais?????
Thanks for this great video very useful. I write from Italy and I want to ask you if you can send me the metallic hoop and if you known the cost. Many thanks for your reply
Great video
Hi, thanks for the video. If you want to make a i.e. 15 mm buttonhole, you can press the alt button and you get the odd numbers.
Excelente vídeo. Obrigada pir disponibilizar a legenda em português. Nós aqui do Brasil precisamos de tutoriais em português da máquina. Seria muito bom.😊
With the Needle Threader, no one mentions it will NOT thread all needles. That being said, I broke my needle threader( the part that goes through the needle eye) just after 10 months of owning my machine. I wish someone would have mentioned that, it would have been helpful to me and I’m sure others.
Las instrucciones en Español, por favor!
My granddaughterI used to stand at the door of nmyy sewing room watching me quilt. The onlly thing keeping her ou was a baby gate, asnd how she wahntd toget herhands my Phaff. Ip tolld her when shse was 9ider II woul d teach her how to sew. i gave my pasportd kaset year forea Chirsdtjmas bb7t parkinsons has made i.d
made it imposssible for me to sew.. I so glad you have these videos so she can stiill learn how to use her machine!
How do you save a stitch you like?
I'm watching your first video on the Creative Icon. This is likely the best demo of this machine I've ever seen. I got very little from my dealer. I'm keeping this in my saved videos to refer back to.
Hello! One question please: on the left side from the display, i saw a scissor symbol. Means this if ipressit cuts the threads automaticcaly? I find it helpful forquilting big blankets but hereyou used the cutter on the side of the mashine. Thank you for informations about this Paff. I wanted a Juki 2010 but it's not available in my country.
I’m a couple of years late watching videos on the Creative Icon and Creative Icon 2, but I really appreciate how thorough your instructions are. I have a Creative Performance, which is no longer in production. I love the IDT feature and all the useful and beautiful stitches on it. I bought it without the embroidery unit because I have other machines that embroider. My daughter has a Creative Sensation Pro and is considering a new top of the line machine. She’s been a die-hard Pfaff fan, but has had consistent issues with her Creative Vision, Creative Sensation, and Creative Sensation Pro, each owned at different times. All the issues are associated to the Active Stitch Technology, unfortunately. As a result, she’s now considering two different brands for her next top of line machine. She really wants to stay with Pfaff, but has grown weary with the unresolved issues.
Where is the promised video on the use of specialty feet for the Opal 650? When I put in a search, there isn't one. I would like more information about using my machine online. I shouldn't have to run into the store for each new foot.
OMG found your video again. My daughter got a costume (bought at the last minute as this is when she told me she needed it!! Turns out it had buttons but no buttonholes. I haven't ever done one and found your video again. It saved me I was able to follow your instructions which were easy to follow, including how you marked the button marking line (another video I did just did the I Marking) and you included how you placed it including the warning that it jumped also scared me once it's finished...thanks to your video I was able to put buttonholes on the shirt. I know feel much more confident with them. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH From Melbourne Australia
Super helpful. Thank you so much. Just got this machine yesterday. After sewing on my Singer for 60 years…this machine is a bit intimidating. 😊Your tutorial was a great assist to get me started. Owner instruction class from the store is not for another 2 weeks. Kind of excited to start experimenting. Appreciate your help. 👌
Never mention price. That's a shocker!
Just FYI, it’s a “presser foot”, NOT a “pressure foot”.
I just bought my machine today. This is an excellent video for getting started as I forgot most of what they showed me at the store.
I apologize for my comment, I have icon 2 and I thought yours did too....sorry
Many compliments for your tutorials. I would like to ask you, isn't this done first by turning on the projector? that actually shows you where the embroidery is done? a hug from Florence
