LOL I'll recommend the same as I always do for folk trying to isolate just one track from Superunknown: set aside an hour, & treat yourself to listening the whole thing thru *as the album it is* sometime If you can approach it open-minded, & allow yourself to sink into it.... it can be a profound experience. ;)

lol you need to do a Kylie dive - this song is basically a Kylie style song. She can genre hop in almost anything - she has a country dance pop album which epitomised this sound. She also is the queen of disco right now. See album Disco. She won Grammy for Padam Padam this year. She had dabbled in rock - see Impossible Princess and a song with Nick Cave and the bad seeds. She has one hell of a legacy.

Such a shame you have not heard of Kylie. She is as big as Madonna in UK, Europe and Australia. She just finished a concert at Hyde Park in UK and was a smash. You may know her from "Can't Get you out of my Head". It was a big hit all over the world and in US. Madonna is a good friend of Kylie and brought her on stage recently. You must look hef up. You will be amazed at her talent! She co wrote Midnight Ride with Peck. She is marvellous! ❤❤❤❤❤

Ben Shepherd is so creative. I love his other collaborations as well, His solo album In Deep Owl is a favorite to listen to when I paint. This song is about Ben Shepherd's daughter being born. Slaves and Bulldozers live is my favorite by Soundgarden but they have so many amazing songs.

You should watch the video for Peace Sells... by Megadeth. The meaning of this song, to me, is an angry rant spewed at someone you love, but really don't like at that moment. It is SOOOO angry but the idea of Jesus added to the song gives a bit of an air of forgiveness. I'm not religious, btw, it just strikes me that way. Also, it is very probable that Maynard James Keenan took inspiration from this song. There was nothing like this album, BadMotorFinger, when it came out.

The meaning behind the song is like this. Ever see those bullies in high school with their arms out and all aggressive? They step up all "Yo, wassup! We gonna go bro?" Because they're all judgey and opinionated and they think everyone needs to think like them. This song's kind of like that. Though not probably teenage bullies, but people that like to step up and force their opinions on people. Like they think they're Jesus Christ or something and everyone should bow down and listen to them.
