True. I, personally put LC & HC EQs in such way that they do not change the foundamentals of the sound. The cuts are almost inaudibile. (Except when I cut frequencies to achieve a different sound).

You really need to setup the control room in cubase bro. Also each of the studios have 3 sets of monitors to switch to.

When you compared your original 650s with the emulation, you bypassed using level match bypass inside the plugin when listening to the original headphones. This bypass enables HD-linear emulation. I don't know if that makes a difference :P

Dude I love your content, I'm intermediate to mixing, so I find this useful!! Thank you. Just a bit of feedback: I think plugins like SSL that aren't visual that much need to be solo'd. Maybe A/B with solo so that we can hear changes you're making. E.g. when you EQ the kick drum
