Congrats.. This is probably the most underrated remix of a homestuck song…ever. So many motifs, beautiful melody variations, surprises around ever corner. Everything from the instrument choice to the mixing was absolutely phenomenal, triggering an emotional response from me unlike ANY other remix out there currently. I don’t know if I can get across how amazing this is without finding your internet protocol address so I can break into your house at 2:51 AM and scream at you while playing this, if only I could..

Because one of the biggest conflicts in the flash is vriska putting jade to sleep, forcing beq to prototype themselves. As vriska is associated with megalovania, the song is in there.

1. This is a fantastic remix of a underrated song, and the added songs really improve it like the added beatdown at 1:24 - 1:36 and 2. Since you made descend and umbrall ultimatum will you be making remixs of other major flash events like cascade, Unite synchronize, game over and collide?
i probably will, yeah! i've had some work-in-progress stuff for a Cascade remix for a while, but i've not gotten back to it yet as i've been working on some stuff for a few fancomics, and some personal music projects

yes!! though technically it's sburban jungle being referenced (descend and tribal ebonpyre reference the same bit of sburban jungle)
Thanks! I knew it had to be some variation of the Sburban Jungle melody, but Tribal Ebonpyre was the only song with that particular variation. I love your remixes, keep up the great work!
Hello again, Whimsi! After doing a LOT more listening to the Homestuck soundtrack, I have made a discovery about the melody in question! I believe that the tune we discussed, both present in Tribal Ebonpyre and, very faintly, Descend is actually the brass riff from EARTHSEA BOREALIS, but syncopated to the rhythm of Sburban Jungle! What do you think about that? Once again, thanks for the fantastic remix!
i think that would be neat, but Earthsea Borealis was released a while after Sburban Jungle, Descend, AND Tribal Ebonpyre. it's just a pretty direct quote from the opening of sburban jungle
