I’m debating the same two tires. I’m know I can’t go wrong with the BFG’s, but I noticed Toyota has put some wild peak AT4’s on some of the new tundras. I just bought a 25 with factory 3” lift but they put Yokohama geolanders 265-60 R 20’s. I have room for more tire and not sure what size to go with. Honestly, I’m going to be driving mostly road but I want a more aggressive looking tire. Suggestions?
@@michaelnorth1762 well so far i dont want any other tires but my at4’s. But the employees at bell tire raved at how much better the at4’s are built, and how much easier they balance. The tread gap of the at4’s on the middle blocks as well as them being taller and wider for the same size and the cost pushed me to buy them. As well as the large outer tread blocks. And the sipes. After i saw the ko3’s in person both on a gm at4hd truck and at the bell tire the at4’s became the only option for me. I did want to give them a fair shake

Are windows durable enough to transport them with windows in?
@@MrPholding thats a good question. Being the go together in a half. I would transport them not round but in half. In which case they wouldnt be out in the wind but stacked on a trailer. So yes i would say you can transport them with windows in. If you didnt want to make them full round on the spot, that would take up alot more space on a trailer. They are pretty big. Where if you stack the halfs you could use like a lawn mower trailer to take 4 or 5 even 6. I guess as many as you want. But built they are like 7 feet around. So you could take 2 on a 14-16 foot trailer. And would need a 30 foot trailer or so to take 4. In which case id be worried about over stressing the front windows. But you could just tow them with the windows folded down. In which case you would just need to worry about strapping them down
@ I have it all together but the windows. I think I can put it all together and let the windows hang down to let air blow through it not to stress the hull and not put much stress on the windows. Thanks for the reply and good video.
Very nice looking sled. I was thinking about getting one also this year in the same spec. For the reasons you state. Good on the trails. Good at some off trails adventuring and will provide long term miles over all. What size trailer did you have it loaded on? Thanks
Fits no problem on a 12 foot trailer. My buddy has a 10 foot tilt deck snowmobile trailer and it hangs off the back a good foot. No problem though for an open deck trailer. But one of those claim shell snowmobile trailers would be an issue
How do they ride compared to stock tires? And how is the noise level? Mine has the Goodyear Wrangler (tremor) 285/75 R18 tires (which I think are not bad, but a little noisy).
@@ShelbyvsViper road noise is slightly more but not loud. A small hum. Our cabs are extremely well insulated. Im running 50 front 55 rear psi for towing. The rear is way too hard empty and it bounces a good bit over big bumps or pavement heaves which if you are from michigan, you know our roads are terrible. The rear can probably go down to 35-40 when the truck is empty and be find and ride much better. I would say its no worse than stock and it depends on the psi you are at and the load you are at. I wouldn’t say they ride better as the stock Bridgestones were very good tires in my opinion. Duratracs are much much louder. They get worse with age too. Great tire from 100 percent tread down to about 50 then as for as im concerned a terrible tire. I would say duratracs probably perform almost equally in mud i got into my muddy field when these tires were brand new and for an at they cleaned very very well. Duratracs are also great in winter but i think the at4’s are better in rain. Iv put probably 200k miles on duratracs. Iv had many sets. Very good tire for what it is but it has limitations. Its almost as loud as a true mud tire but its not as good in the mud as a mud tire by far. If the mud is sticky you are in trouble just like an all terrain
Great video! If you live in a snowy area, I assume you do since you’re in Michigan, could you do a review of that? Also, maybe could you review a hard acceleration? Im in a toss up between these an K03’s. My K02’s are kaka in wet weather. Thanks.

I bought a new kubota 3902 in 2022 and had leaking valves in the front tires. I had to tighten the valve stems which cured the problem. I am not happy with my tractor, several reasons: doesn't have the lift power as my old 3000, the R-4 tires are useless in muddy conditions-I've had to use my bucket to help get out of muddy situations. My old 3000 rated at 30 hp had more guts than this 3902. Just after I bought the tractor, several things went wrong: hydraulic hose burst and covered me with oil, the parking brake didn't work and the loader barely picked up 500 lbs., then the dealer closed his shop near where I live and now I have to truck my tractor 50 miles away for any repairs. I will never buy another Kubota.

The true cost of the Diesel option on my truck back in 2021 To estimate how much your $11,000 investment in the S&P 500 will grow in 5 and 10 years, we can use the historical average return of the index. The S&P 500 has historically averaged about a 7-10% annual return when adjusted for inflation, but we’ll use a few different scenarios. 5-Year Projection: 1. 7% annual return: Future Value = $11,000 * (1 + 0.07)^5 ≈ $15,418 2. 8% annual return: Future Value = $11,000 * (1 + 0.08)^5 ≈ $16,189 3. 10% annual return: Future Value = $11,000 * (1 + 0.10)^5 ≈ $17,715 10-Year Projection: 1. 7% annual return: Future Value = $11,000 * (1 + 0.07)^10 ≈ $21,631 2. 8% annual return: Future Value = $11,000 * (1 + 0.08)^10 ≈ $23,749 3. 10% annual return: Future Value = $11,000 * (1 + 0.10)^10 ≈ $28,531 These estimates assume you are reinvesting dividends and that the S&P continues to grow at historical rates. Keep in mind that actual returns can vary year to year due to market volatility. And that is not accounting for the more expensive repair and maintenance cost.

@@greatlakespowerstrokefx4 how do you get the trim lights around the light to come on
I use a weight distribution hitch. By using a weight distribution hitch, you distribute the weight away from the rear axle and back onto the trailer and front axle. I tow an 8,300 lb trailer with 1,100 lb of tongue weight, and with the weight distribution hitch, my truck sits level, and I have excellent steering control.
I have loaded a pallet of concrete on the bed of my 2021 F-250 with the 7.3 only 120 lb over the payload capacity and that is a big advantage over the diesel that reduces the payload by 600lb because of the extra weight of the engine. Love the Banks gage.
@@TheMasterMUF all true. My 7.3 has a 4381 lbs payload. Which is alot. There are defiantly reasons to own a diesel and there are for sure reasons to own a capable gas truck. 7.3 for sure makes having a gas engine less of a hindrance than some power performing powertrains of the past

@@WADZUP i dont think they did but it appears to be in 2025. There are 850 and 1k 2 up options as well but given the cost of the 850 and 1k im pretty darn happy with my 700. I think its bottom and mid range and quiet engine
Could you help me out with tire pressure. I am a new had truck owner. I have a 24 super duty f350 tremor with the 7.3 gas. I am not towing. I eventually want to put on a slide in camper. How far below the window sticker can I run my tires and do you have any recommended sources on learning g more about tire pressure on HD truck. Honestly there is not much out there. Every time I conduct a Google search on this, I mostly come up with forums and reading related to Jeep tires which is a totally different bottle of wax. Thanks ! Jamie
@@robbdog no problem. I do have a video on my method you should be able to find if you wanted to watch the video on my channel. For empty truck i figure on a truck weight of 7200 plus driver. So lets say for example sake 7400. I figure 60/40 weight bias. So 4400 front 3000 rear. Divide each by 2 thats 2200 for the front tires 1500 for each rear. Check your side wall but i think your stock tires are rated for 4080 lbs at 80psi. So front you take 2200/4080 thats 54 percent capacity utilization. So that times 80psi is 43 psi. So i would start at 50 and chalk test. I run 50 on my front just so when i add weight to my truck im still good so im slightly over pressure empty. 50 is a good place to start in my opinion. Rear is 1500/4080 which is 36 percent so 80* 36 percent (0.36) is 29.4. So empty you could for sure run that low. Alot of people do. Id start at 40 and chalk test and air down from there. I run 55 rear empty which is way too much but i randomly hook to trailers so im aired up for that. (I also have different tires than you do with about 200 lbs less load rating so keep that in mind) Now onto your slide in camper. I have no idea what model it is lets just say it weighs 2800 lbs. i would figure 60 percent rear weight 40 percent front. So thats 1680 added to the rear divided by 2 per tire so thats 840 extra per tire. So we figure 1500 + 840 so thats 2340 take that and divide by 4080 (tires max weight rating) thats 57 percent weight utilization times 80 psi so 45 psi for the rear. You could do 50 so you have a bit extra for dynamic loads of bouncing over bumps. Always chalk test After Front 1120 so 560 per tire. Plus the front tire prior weight which was 2200 thats 2760. Now divide by the weight rating 2760/4080 is 67 percent thats 54 psi. So maybe try 57? Chalk test from there. Now to be more exact weigh your truck at a cat scale with you in it then calculate from there. And better yet weigh with the camper in and take the axle weights and divide by 2. Then do your percentage of weight rating from there and times by the make psi which should be 80 psi
No more diesel, really?
I just put a set of 35/12.5 at4s on my 24 f250 so far I love them.
@@shawnlewis6660 awesome i bet they look great. As i do drive alot of highway and alot less off road i wanted to keep my tire size reasonable these work out to about 11.2 wide and 34.5 tall. Iv been meaning to try the set of bronze methods i have for my old f250 with 35 12.5 trail grapplers on the 7.3. I will at some point
