2018 KTM 350 XCF. 50B. 1st Place 25-mile test. Got the holeshot (not on video) . Kept lead most of test. Had second fastest 50B time in this test and won the race after 4 tests by 2-minutes. 1st lap in 50 B AMRA. Got up to 6th place... 2nd lap was my fastest lap... then crashed twice (slow sand crashes) in the following laps and lost a bunch of positions... finished 11th of 19 bikes. embarrassed to load this up. my first B race. hadn't raced and barely ridden in 7 months and it shows big-time here. Took me the whole 1st lap to finally get into my groove and it was still ugly! lol! I'm blabing and cussing at myself the whole first lap (sorry). made it as high as 4th in 50 B and then fell back and finshed 5th (only 6 in my class) after a crash and subsquently low battery. 2nd time back on the bike after a 6 month layoff... had a rear bib failure 5-mins into the ride. Rode it any for about an hour or so. rear rim spun in tire and melted part of the bead. Good times out in San Manuel Arizona riding part of an old race course. Here's about 4 mins of the ride with my bud on his '16 300 xcw.

No racing right now so filling the gap with a video about why I moved from C to B class 3/4 of the way through the season while leading the 50 C Division. Idiot? Nope, its the right thing to do! I'll miss the next race Sept 1st, but I'll be lining up for the Oct race with 50B and ready to go! Can't wait! Cheers!
