Nice prebugs.. do you happen to have any aftermarket exhaust for sell like a stage 6 or Yasuni r?
@@nastynatesscooters9896 thanks , and I actually do have a stage6 pro replica pipe I’d be willing to get rid of , just like the one on the blue bike
@@Retrojunk0how much
@@Retrojunk0how much and is it in good shape?
@@Retrojunk0what’s your instagram
@@nastynatesscooters9896 hey man , sorry I was on vacation, find me on Facebook , Mike miano profile pic is my kids on prebugs , we can talk about that exhaust on ther
I bet you could sell that for a grand easily 🤔
Looks awesome man! Cant wait to see more of this thing
@@zuminzuma very much appreciated! The headlights are awesome ! You’ll be hearing from me soon enough for another set for my next prebug !!
This thing looks fantastic!
@@scooterattack ahh thanks ! Means a lot coming from one of my favorite scooter related RUclips channels ! 🙏😎
Man i drive a moped for fun everyday i really wish i could wheelie
@@0vixie0 practice man , 1 hour a day , 1 foot down , go slow , practice rear brake , it took me almost a year to learn !
@Retrojunk0 i can't risk it man I don't wanna crash it
@@0vixie0 I didn’t wanna crash mine either lol , but the best thing for you to do is just practice , from a dead stop give it throttle so the front comes up a lil , hit the brake to bring it back down , practice that with one foot on the ground till hitting the brake when it comes up becomes second nature to you
Nice build! Why did you decide on the fatty bar as apposed to the 7/8?
@@firebadgergaming903 I had found em for a good deal on fb marketplace and I liked the no cross support look just seemed cleaner
I put four 5/8" holes at the end of my stock exhaust pipe. Just outside the stock hole. Breathes well. Ported 70 kit. 21 mm pwk
I have a run leader now I can't get it to work. Bought a ten pack of batteries. Tried one so far. Nothing. Everyone on eBay claiming they have tach meter / engine temp and then you buy it and get it and it's only a tach. It's been a nightmare trying to get an engine temp sensor on this scoot of mine. Nice whip playa 😎👁️🐯
Thanks man , and as far as the run leader gauge goes , depending on bike the temp sensor ring for spark plug may be different sizes , for instance my zumas all use a 14mm temp sensor ring that mounts on cylinder head under spark plug , spark plug crush washer has to be removed in order for it to sit correctly, and the tach wire should be a few inches from the actual boot coiled around the spark plug wire several times, I’ve heard good and bad things about the run leader gauges , I e had good luck so far with em but reviews on Amazon are very mixed , you mite have ended up with a dud , the few that I have bought display tach/temp and when the scooters not running time , ther cheap enough tho just order another
I didn’t even know scooters got this intricate where you could mod them and stuff. Nice work bro, cool scooter
Thanks ! This is nothing compared to many other scooters out ther , very mild sport build , you should search up race oriented scooter , outta control how much time and money have gone into people’s scooters
Looks great sounds like it needs a clutch and variator upgrade sounds very boggy
I’ve done several things to it since this video , I just posted a new video going over where it’s at now , and I’ve added a multivar , secondary pully , gears , bigger carb , other odds and ends aswell ! Good call tho , this was the first scooter I layed hands on and have learned quite a bit since this video !
need a stiffer shock homie
@@DuDieselDude already ordered one haha , noticed that almost immediately after doing the first wheelies on it
How does the scooter fit? How tall are you? Do you have long legs?
Well done
Thanks

man thats clean
Clean build 🔥 Able to tell me how you installed the SE pegs? And can you give me the link to the stem you used? Appreciate it & Great vid.
@@OnewayJulio thanks , the se pegs are pretty easy , take the bolt off that’s holding the rack now , hit up a hardware store and find one with the same thread that’s about an inch longer and get 4 fender washers that fit the bolt , make sure the washers are kind of wide , use the 3/8 adapter that comes with the pegs put a washer on inside of pegs and back side of peg that contacts the rack and your good to go , and the stem can come in tall or short in different colors here’s the link www.scootertuning.ca/en/styling-parts-handlebar-stems/13011-handlebar-fastener-str8.html if you get the tall one and run tall bars but intend on keeping your oem switch’s and controls you’ll have to extend wires and reroute brake cables/hose , good luck man !
haha bro your color schemes and accessories go hard nothing more to say cool content bro
@@MartinPage-lt4vf thanks dude ! Really appreciate it ! I’ll have another bike build up in the next couple weeks !
do you find the prebug easier to wheelie than the bugeye? i got myself an 03 and i'm building it now but i heard that they are harder to stunt on.
@@stopchangingmynameyoutube certainly easier to wheelie on prebugs , but with the right setup the bugeye could be just as easy to wheelie , If you watch the video I did on my yellow 03 bugeye I explain what I did , but since then Ive added a polini cp21 carb witch made a world of difference
@@Retrojunk0 thanks bro i'll check it out
@@stopchangingmynameyoutube also in that video I had stage6 13/43 gears , I have gone back to the stock 03 gears since that video and even with the stock carb it would wheelie well
Jo
Dope! Which conversion kit mount (vert to horizontal) did you use and where did you get it?
@@DannyBatista appreciate it man , I used the 7.5cm+ easyboost swap mount , got it from scootertuning.ca fairly inexpensive and very straightforward, but just to throw it out ther , it solid mounts the motor to the frame so thers a lot of unavoidable vibration due to how it mounts , I wouldn’t consider doing it to a bike you ride everyday , at least that’s my personal opinion
You suck 😂
I’ve got this same scooter and really wanna make it wheelie but it’s none stock and damn near impossible to get the front wheel of the ground you got any recommendations on how I can get this thing to wheelie.
@@gageclark8956 70cc kit would help a lot , if you don’t wanna do that you can try to tune the cvt to have more torque , higher rpm clutch springs maybe a different belt , I used a naraku 70cc kit with the oem 50cc head and slightly upjet the carb to accommodate it , then I installed some heavier clutch springs and a stiffer contra spring , shimmed the variator out abit
@@Retrojunk0 thanks a lot I’ll take this into consideration when I get to building this thing out
@@Retrojunk0 I think I wanna try the 70cc kit any recommendations on where to get that
@@gageclark8956 no problem man , bugeyes are abit weird to wheelie , pretty heavy and have a pretty sketch balance point , but once your locked in it’s fairly easy to maintain a wheelie with the right setup
@@gageclark8956 scootertuning.ca is where I get a lot of my stuff at , the most affordable 70cc kit would be the Naraku 70cc cast iron kit for around 95 bucks , if you chamfer the ports with a dremel and use the oem 50cc head on it you’ll have a torquey yet reliable setup that won’t ruin your stock crank , but you will need to up jet abit for it

Were do you live that you dont have to register a scooter ?
@@hondafreak232 just outside Nashville, Tennessee, from all I’ve read and researched no tags needed for 50cc and under with automatic transmission, I’m originally from Long Island , New York were everything and anything on the road has to have a registration
Where can i get new body panels for an 02 bugeye and what is the best 70cc kit and any other tips u might have would be great
@@bobbyranshaw2094 you can get new panels from scootertuning.ca or propartsscoot.com they have a bunch of different colors to choose from and they have all the other plastic bits aswell like the knee shield and floor board , under belly , just about everything , as far as 70 kits and stuff to go with it , I’d say the cast iron stage6 streetrace 70 kit is most reliable and best power for the money. Paired with a stage6 mkll pipe and a polini cp 17.5mm or 21mm carb or dellorto 17.5 phbn if you wanna keep the stock air box and intake , top performance variator kit and a motoforce 3 shoe clutch and bell you’d have a pretty nice and quick scoot once all the tuning is sorted out , hope this helps
That’s pink razz though!!!
@@ZumaGawd that thing was cool but it’s gone now , traded it for a clapped out prebug
@@Retrojunk0 awe Amman lol I was looking for one not too long ago seeing that one made me catch the bug again lol
@@ZumaGawd a guy local to me had 2 pink ones , one was in mint condition and I ended up trading some parts for the other witch wasn’t bad , it ran and road but not great , I’m pretty tall and way more into prebugs/bugeyes , couldn’t pass up the trade
🔥🔥🔥
It’s crazy we were literally doing the same thing on 2 different bikes lol at the same time
@@ZumaGawd for sure lol been chipping at this one slowly for a while now , and yea it’s a pretty rough ride. I don’t take this one out much , I plan on getting the shorter swap mount and throwing a rear shock on at some point , in no rush tho I have several other bikes to ride
@@Retrojunk0 same I have too many lol … so much money everywhere
@@ZumaGawd definitely get expensive , I’m on my 4th prebug project at the moment , full frame up resto/mod and I have 3 bugeye frames a 90cc horizontal Mina and a few bugeye motors all waiting in line , to many projects not enough time or money to get em all done at once lol
That’s sick I love the seat! Also that’s gotta be a rough ride with a solid rear end
idk why the pw80 filter is funny to me
Pw50 air box and the main reason I used it was because it was all I had laying around at the time , it didn’t like the pod filter I put on it
Wsup bro! Still lookin to get a couple of Yamaha stickers from you.
@@itsroads206 I got you , dm me on face book @ Mike miano we’ll figure it out from ther

@@Clips4u-k7c thanks !
Where did you get actual plastics instead of stickers
I ordered them from an oem Honda parts dealer , I believe it was partzilla.com
I am doing something similar with mine. How much money did you.pour in yours? Any advice
I’d say I out about $600 into it after the initial cost of the bike , and as far as advice goes I’m not to sure what kind of build your going for , keeping it stock ? 70cc kit ? Everyday use ? Wheelies ? Go-fast ? Thers so many routes you could go
I love this I have a 2003 Zuma 50cc without the bore kit have you had any issues since the mods?
@@wolfhands2508 thanks! mostly tuning the carb just right during ever changing weather conditions and using a pod filter but as far as the durability of the cylinder/exhaust/intake/carb goes everything is still functioning quite well !
I haven't gotten the chance to learn how to wheelie yet. But when you do, does your gas tank leak at all? I can't imagine the gas cap being leak proof?
Thers a rubber seal on the cap , on 2 of my bikes it’s shot and leaks a tiny bit , nothing to be concerned with , but for the most part if the tank isn’t topped off it doesn’t leak
Where’d you get the pegs?
@@itsroads206 they are se bikes bmx pegs that I adapted using some washers and longer bolts for the rack
Nice build
@@RidgeRunner333 thanks !
Wish you was in central Florida to fix my moped I’m not mechanically inclined loving the videos tho. How do you know your stuff speed or gas level tho
@@doingitbigent thanks man ! And as far as knowing my fuel level and speed goes , I usually just fill up the tank before I leave the house and rarely do I go on a long enough ride to drain the tank completely, but occasionally I’ll stop and just look to see where I’m at , and speed I use a gps app on my phone when I’m not using it to record , but this bike is mainly just for doing wheelies and not really a long distance type of bike
I’m moving to Sebring in Oct. If you find someone who can fix scoots, please let me know. I have a 2000 Prebug.
@@itsroads206 I can fix scooters. Hit me up.
How did you make that bubble letter yamaha sticker?
I make them in all different colors with a machine I have
@@Retrojunk0Do you sell them?
@@itsroads206 yea ! What color you looking for for ?
@@Retrojunk0 Silver?
@@itsroads206 yup , what type of silver ? Light , dark ? Metallic?
Scooter wheelies go hard.🤘
Does it handle better or just the same with the risers? Considering on getting some. My arms are really long & the bars hit my knees in deep turns like a u turn. Was thinking risers would help.
I’d say it handles different , I can’t say better tho never really rode it much in stock form enough ti give an accurate comparison , I’m 6’3 so it feels much more comfortable to me all around then it did stock
Just an fyi tho if you add bars and risers your going to have to extend all the wires to your oem switches and controls , it’s not difficult but is a necessity
Where is that spoiler on the fan from?
Scootertuning.ca
what carb trying to get away from auto chock carb know i gotta find different cable for throttle
Polini cp 17.5 , you do need a different throttle cable , and just keep in mind that your oem throttle will accelerate in both directions meaning if you roll it forward it’ll accelerate if you twist like normal it will accelerate, oem throttle cables worked in a push pull type of way , just keep that in mind when switching
What is this seat cover
It’s a thrill seekers seat cover , look em up
I have a Vento zip r3i turbocam moped it has a malossi big bore 70 CC sport kit has a malossi belt stage 6 variator 80jet and yasuni adriniline racing exhaust
