Why? Why would ANYONE want a v6 camaro?

Egr and gasket, pcv valve, any exhaust leaks can cause it to run a bit rich.... rough idle- throttle position sensor, idle air control valve, map sensor, mass air flow sensor. Take your plugs and see if any of them are fouled if so replace your plugs and wires....

Obviously an ignition problem. Plenty of fuel, but not being burned. Try replacing the radio antenna.

Looks like an IAC Valve (Idle Air Control). This regulates the amount of air necessary to mix with the fuel to maintain a steady idle. When it died like that is a clear indicator of an IAC Valve failure. You may also have a carbon build up where the throttle plate is not allowing the throttle to close all the way - which can cause similar issues allowing too much air into the engine. I see this video is from quite some time ago, but other people having similar issues with a rough idle should do some research on the IAC valve and cleaning a Throttle Body.

If your gas is burning Rich it's an O2 sensor problem

had one doing the same thing changed the ignition control module and I.A.C. fixed it good as new. hope it helps best of luck to ya

mine does the same shit i changed 02 sensors the iac valve and cleaned the throttle body egrs are alot for these so im trying to hold out on it anybody else have this problem and fixed it as i did these things it got somewhat better nowhere near where it should be

My chevy camaro does the same but it come on but once I push the gas it turn off the rpm get low and turn off

hey mustangjoe88..I have a question for ya bud.I have the exact problem with my car and it's also a 1994 v6 camaro. It idles poorly, rpm jumps up and down. When you first start the car it idles like it has a huge cam in it and white smoke comes out of the tail pipes and it also dies on you at idle

buy urself an OBDII diagnostic scanner with graphing capabilities and then research some stuff on the internet and use the scanner to check all the sensors; o2, cam, crank, map,maf,etc etc and that way you can see whats really going on with the car and why its running rich and rough. Instead of throwing parts at the car and relying on all these unreliable youtube comments.

my 02 firebird with the 3..8l was doing the same thing except it wouldnt idle i had to keep pushing the gas turns out it needed a cam sensor, lower and upper intake gasket, and had a clugged catalytic converter. if your antifreeze is good then you dont need the intake gasket. when you drive it does it sound like a alot of rattling under the car? could be a clugged cat

Your oil pressure was very very high. I just finished rebuilding my 94 Camaro's motor. The oil pressure shouldn't be nearly that high when idling.
