Yeah... I remember when I used to think Donnie Darko was the coolest thing ever too.

Interesting coices, but your Top 20 is very weak, many classics and gems are not in this list. You put Parasite, Blade Runner and There will be Blood higher than The Godfather and Apocalypse now. I don't like those choices, but you have interesting list though.

Not a bad list but too many newer films! The older ones from many years ago are somewhat better in many ways!

Kind of sad all of this lists are full of the same movies from the United States, and people think this is all that cinema can do, in your list only like 5 movies could be considered in the 150 best movies of all time, all the others are pretty regular

Always be careful watching movies in languages you don’t understand from cultures you’re not familiar with. I’m not American and my mother language is not the English language, when I watch movies with foreign friends (especially in the Anglophone sphere) I’m so surprise to see how many things they misunderstood/missed watching a movie anthropologically distant from them. That’s not great because it also induces the infamous Dunning Kruger effect. Not a bad habit to stick just with movies made in languages you speak imo

I recommend non-American directors like Bergman, Tarkovsky, Kurosawa, Tati, Mizoguchi. These new experiences may change your list.
