What boiler for 2 bed flat, want low modulation for good efficiency, maybe Tado or similar modulating control

Mines frustrating. It's sending the signal, the receiver is flashing like it's trying to fire up but it doesn't. The water etc is working fine.

Hive thermostat says temperature is20.5. Actual temperature is 18. Is there a way to calibrate this?

Can you please tell me what is the issue behind, why my thermostat does not want to connect to the receiver?

We dont have the blue pressy thing, the key, or the loop so i dont know what happened with ours lol. Someone was supoosed to show up hours ago and never did. We do have two black valves but they are on straight pipes. Tried each of those and water came out.

Our Ideal boiler packed up last night -5 outside.. Done this now we're all toasty again cheers buddy..

Vaillant can be F28 for this fault. Drain pipe inside and then reset.

Thanks, this video just saved me on -11° C night in Yorkshire! Tiny 35mm pipe straight down 2 storeys from the boiler to the street had frozen up, poured hot water on the bottom couple of metres and all the water came pouring out, boiler back on, happy days!

My social housing provider fitted this in my property last August and when i run i bath i cant get the temperature set on the boiler i.e set to 50c it wont go past 43c any help appreciated if i need to report to housing or this is just way it is ideal logic c30 boiler

Hoping you can help me. Moved into a new place with a WB boiler and Comfort RF II thermostat. I can make the heating come on by toggling the heat control button between ON/OFF/AUTO but can't program it because the right hand menu button doesnt work and this is the button that gets you into the settings menu. I bought a 2nd hand identical thermostat with the intention to pair it to the boiler and then be able to set up programs. In all the videos I've seen they instruct you to unpair the boiler first and then unpair the thermostat and then press the override button on the boiler for a number of seconds and then start the pairing process on the thermostat. If successfully paired, the thermostat should display a 1. But only 0 is showing on mine (meaning not paired). And now because I had to hold down the override button on the boiler, it's now unpaired from its original thermostat, leaving me with neither thermostat paired to the boiler, and I can't even re-pair the old broken thermostat because the right hand menu button doesn't work. Have you any advice on how to pair the new thermostat please?

I have warm water in the shower only intermittently and mostly need to run the bathroom tap simultaneously to get hot water in the shower. Just bought and installed a new shower mixer tap (thought of the mixing valve being the one to blame) but the issue is still there. Any advice on why this might be occurring? (I have a Baxi combi boiler)

How long does P1-P6 last for on auto mode? Is it an hour?

(3 bed detached one bathroom) I'm on my second Vaillant combi running underfloor heating and domestic hot water. I chose electric shower to negate gas disruption (hasn't happened in 30yrs?) 1st boiler non condensing lasted 18yrs with an upgrade to diverter valve (plastic to brass) early on, otherwise just DHW micro switch every so often. The expansion vessel needed replacement, and as the boiler would've needed to come off the wall or remote EV decided to go new 10 years ago to Ecotec 28kw pro, I was talked out of the 30kw as HWFR was negligible. Anyway, absolutely no issues whatsoever just cleaned the C/Chamber, good for another 10yrs 🤞

Hi mate , I've got a Worcester boiler 2000 and I've got the comfort 2 rF thermostat. When I turn on the hot tap it indicates with the little flame simple that it's working but when I try and set the heating on using the thermostat nothing happens ?

Mine said it overheated with code 244 and then just said low pressure I’m confused

Can you "close" this boiler in wardrobe or does it need air to function properly?

I have a 4000. It stopped firing. I couldn’t find a reset option. So switch power supply off then on again. Seems ok now.

Why does it need to know the weather, you spec the temperature you want at the thermostat and it switches the heating on until it reaches that. The outside temperature should not matter?

Hi thanks for the review of these boilers. I have around 4 Turbomax Plus ombi boilers, three of which are 24KW and one at 28KW. One of the 24KW combi boilers has a rear facing flue and common sense would dictate to replace this with the EcoFit Pure model. However, would I be compromising on power and longevity if I didn't replace all three existing 24KW TurboMax Plus boilers with an EcoTEC Pro 24 instead?

having an issue where the app and the thermostat says heating but the heating isnt acutally turning on, would that be more of a boiler issue? Doesnt say anything is wrong in the app

Have a logic 30 boiler. It says stat of. Even tho it's not. I have the honeywell tr3. Connected like you say. The receiver clicks on but the boiler doest fire up. And just say stat off any ideas

Hive hub disconnects when internet goes down. I have to then call hive support to fix. Annoying !!!

Thank you for explaining, but our situation is a bit strange. We have a vaillant eco tec 832, the heating set as off, but it will still randomly kick in and never turn off. This is after telling us to clean the outdoor weather compensator. Not sure what to do!

The only problem i have is the styling - they are hideous. They remind me of a 50;s style american fridge and look comletely out of place unless you hve a retro '60's kitchen !!

I have deleted P5 and P6 on my T3 , how can I reinstall them ?

The hub connection to the thermostat isn't the problem, the issue is that I can't use the app as it constantly says its offline.
