I see where you're coming from ...Much of Africa continues to grapple with high rates of poverty, lack of access to basic services and underdeveloped infrastructure. This makes daily life more difficult. But there is a certain kind of calm and peace that descends on me when i get there that I can't get in the west. I love Malcolm... However, this speech is why so many of yall believe the MYTH about "house slave and field slave." Its not historically accurate. House slave and field slave were NOT color based designations. Slaves were put in the house or field based on their age/ability/skill set NOT their color... NOT their color. Most house slaves were elderly female slaves REGARDLESS of complexion. Why were most house slaves older female slaves? Because they were the most skilled cooks/nannys/seamstresses AND it was a liability to put old slaves in the field bcz their age made them susceptible to fatigue/illness. AND the master trusted old women around their kids and wife. Black ppl are so obsessed with complexion we assume whytes see it the way we do, and they dont. Yall think whytes "accept" light skinned blacks and they dont. Light skinned blacks are just a less threatening- looking boogieman (in their eyes). But we are all subhuman to them. House slaves were dark skinned, field slaves were light skinned. House and field slaves were every complexion yall. Slavery was a business. The masters prioritized productivity, NOT aesthetic. @Knk- Hello Knk, its has been a while since I watched your videos. I am glad that you are speaking truth on Ghana but a lot needs to be said. I was watching your videos back in 22 but stopped because of my own issues in that country. I have left Ghana and I am in another African country that has given me peace of mind and the people here got sense, plenty of sense. A lot of our people coming from the states wont know the other side of Ghana until they are living on the ground and experiencing the high corruption that affects everything! Ghanaians have no love for themselves, no self-respect and no sense of pride and they treat each other like garbage. The Ghanaian mindset is something soooooo different, I cant explain it. So, diasporas you will not be treated any differently, they will cheat you, scam you and exploit you, especially the “Christians” and think nothing of it. But I am glad you are still doing videos.
