Greatest man that ever lived. A true leader and man. You dont know about this man because it is too inspiring. I am happy that he did what he did. A true leader of men. Dear Ponce
It seems so called Kafirs by Afganis were the last Hindus of Afganistan. Hindus have lost much of their land to Islamists due to massive Islamic invasion.
Please come back and make more videos!
Whats is the music of the start? I'm enchanted by these flutes.
Get someone who knows Spanish pronunciation.
I was told that this culture still survives in what is called Nuristan.
As a Puerto Rican myself, it was a little nifty to learn about our "Father of the Fatherland". exceptional documentary, GMT 👍
an interesting video indeed. Really nice. I agree that the algorithm should pick this up and share amongst all feeds. My request to the owner would be to share some links or coordinates of the places talked about in this video. watching these places through google maps is comforting to some of us. We would like to relive the journey through google maps.
😂
I like this channel
I would not call it "pagans". Pagan was used to demean by christian. I would rather call it "Ancient" religion. From which the story of creation came and adopted by Christian coz you definitely need story to prove the authenticity of your god. So lets demean the original religion and twist their stories and rebrand it.
Easily one of the best channels on RUclips, cheering you on mate
Please stop using the term pagans in the 21st century.
This is new to me and extremely interesting. Thank you.
Loved it ❤
Yeah when you understand transformation ... you nope!
The fort you have shown as Fort of Dir at 11:29 (onwards) is Baltit Fort in Karimabad Hunza in the presentday Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.
I found out that he is my 15th great grandfather through ancestry! Ironically I now live in Florida lol thank you for the info it was so well put together!
Are u Puerto Rican because he buried in my home island?
I dont want this horrible subtitles that occupy all the video. 😢
very good video
Imagine a god who declares people those who do not follow him as kafirs and worthy to be kulled, and create hate and divide among people shamefull If he really is god why did he gave birth to people who do not follow him how can god kill his own children pisslam is a cult not a religion
Are there still people who believe in paganism?🙄😂😂😂
Yes, more than people actually imagine.
Islam is pure cancer
What a name 😂 Kafiristan 😂
Islamic rule in India was a form of colonialism, characterized by the imposition of a foreign islamic culture, religion, and political system on the Indian subcontinent. Muslims were foreign invaders who came to India and imposed their Islamic faith and culture on the indigenous population. They point to examples of the destruction of Hindu temples, the imposition of Jizya tax on non-Muslims, and the forced conversions to Islam as evidence of this colonialist mindset. Muslim social attitudes on modern issues have caused controversy everywhere. Islam to be incompatible with secular society, and that, unlike other religions, Islam positively commands its adherents to impose its religious law on all peoples, believers and unbelievers alike, whenever possible and by any means necessary. Islam allows to propagate abuses, such as the mistreatment of women and homosexuals, and slavery. They also state that multiculturalism allows a degree of religious freedom that exceeds what is needed for personal religious freedom and is conducive to the creation of organizations aimed at undermining secular values. According to poll, high people had an unfavourable view of Islam, higher than for any other religion.
You probably need to change your statement of pagans because Americans still think Hindu people are pagan they believe in one god one collective energy or creator
Gosh what a lot of bigoted comments regarding muslims and islam
How peaceful, beautiful, rich and lovely these lands would have been had they chosen to remain Hindu or Buddhist....
If wishes were horses. Mister it is mentioned here that they were warlike people. Afghanistan and it's adjoining territories were warriors and not peaceful at all before or after Islam. You people talk as if there was no war before Islam. Read your own hindu history. Maybe the British conquered India by way of giving you visas and citizenship to the UK.
I understand your point but 1)They are warriors. 2)Fanaticism is not a religion, it is a way to practise a religion or an ideology, and history shows that all ideologies and religions were/are once infected by fanaticism. The only ones I know that might have been exempt were limited to small islands/enclaves with no link to others. And then, they grow out of it: Catholics have stopped bashing protestants for not believing the Virgin Mary remained a virgin even after Jesus's birth, for example. Let's hope Modi's hindus will soon stop killing Muslims accused of killing cows, or that Daesh soon disappears etc etc.
Again this pagan arabic cult made unique people with unique culture be an average Arab-abdool that betrayed their ancestors, their traditions, their way of life. Kalash, jagnobi, pashtun people and some others are the only few that stay from ancient Sogd and Bactrian population, they should stay themselves not this primitive arabic bedouins.
Ironically, the ones who call others primitive end up being the true primitive ones in the end.
They did not convert to Islam and their culture still thrives. So much misinformation on youtube. Its unbelievable.
All of Abrahamic religions and faith are pagan, they're still slaughtering the lamb.
guy crafts an ingenious disguise as a local learned man, knows the customs, speaks the language - yet he still bitches about having to sit on the ground and eat with his hands.. ..sooOOOO british..
Alhamdulillah
don't use the word pagan be respectful...use the word native religion All native religions are better than Abrahamic faiths
You got your east and west mixed up a couple times. Otherwise, great presentation!
Came to the comments to say this!
This was one of the coolest stories I've ever had the privilage of learning about! Love this kind of content. It brings with it such a sense of wonder, of appreciation for the beauty of this world.
Cry baby hindu jeets in the comments is the funnies thing I’ve seen all day 😂😂😂
My first tour in Afghanistan (2004) I served alongside an ASF (Afghan Security Forces; pre-Karzai) whose village had only finally converted to Islam from Paganism during his Father's early Childhood. And yes that is exactly the region of RC East where we were operating. I tried to get some more information about it, and he said "it is said they worshipped Demons/Devils(the translation was a bit muddied the Terp was a bit confused himself about the meaning of the word used), and Fire. The description of the people doesn't quite hit the mark; I found the Nuristani to be remarkably striking in their features. They are, to use an archaic turn of phrase, a Handsome Race of People; and they are Daring to a Fault in Combat. One of our ASF was shot through both feet, and his legs were riddled with shrapnel; six weeks later he was back out on Patrol with us. These guys would almost beg to be allowed to go join a fight even if it was Green on Green, and they could tell who was fighting whom by the area we could hear shooting going on. "Don't worry, Boss; it's just fight over grazing for goats", or "Fighters, can we go?".
Its seem that you had a great time in Nuristan.
Met one nuristani person at Ft Polk JRTC and his physical appearance definitely made me think that their claim of being descended from Alexander the great's army might have some legitimacy due to his appearance being similar to the likeness of Greek statues. He was pleasantly surprised I knew that origin myth.
why did you lose some sandal wearing taliban fighters? lol
