Brown Mountain OHV Park - Post-Hurricane Helene 2024
**Sunday, December 14, 2024, was a whole vibe at Brown Mountain OHV Park.**
With the park recently reopening after the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, my buddy Luc and I decided to hit Trail 1 to check out how things have changed.
Trail 1 is the only route open to full-sized off-road vehicles. It’s about 9 miles long, mostly an out-and-back ride with a 2-mile loop at the top. Depending on your experience, it’s typically rated as easy to moderate-perfect for a casual off-roading session.
