From 2:24 it sounded like someone was giving you grief for filming the construction site. I guess "it takes all kinds ..."

All thise towers and neighbors... Where are grocer's the grocery the Kwik trip the hardware supplies stores the churches the diners and restaurants and grass and trees. ... No place no space... Where's the privacy... Thousands of dollars a month for a condo space thats less than half the square footage my house ..

300m from a Skytrain, and right near existing 25 storey buildings, and the best we could do is six storeys? Kinda sad, but better than a vacant lot for decades I guess.

I must admit it looks like a beautiful building. Very nice but a far too noisy neighborhood.

Nice view of Mount pleasant Station from the bus. The next time when you do Arbutus Station, could you include a view of the station from the bus? It’s good to do something like that since anyone of us can get a good clear view of the station progress

What's the deal about this parking lot ?

IMO, these new towers are a definite improvement over the 1970s brutalist-looking Empire Landmark Hotel that used to be here. But what I really like is how the new podium interfaces with the street realm. The shops are attractive, and well-designed and will make a positive contribution to Robson St. The podium has that highend look that only come when quality materials are used(it looks like Clinker Brick was used at the rear of the podium...very nice!). Overall, this project is a thumbs-up in my book!

I didn't read anything about them going to demolish the bridge.

I wish they had turned the north end into park, and put half the pedestrians through the super-structure below. Over-all pretty good, less noise I hope.

Great news that boring has finally been completed, but what a shame that this line has to be built in two separate phases. We have the machines and we all know it's never going to be cheaper to extend the line to UBC than right now! What a missed opportunity!

Thanks for the video! It's wonderful to see this old church repurposed and incorporated into what is clearly an outstanding modern tower. I hope this project serves as a template for how other heritage structures can be preserved in the city!

My favorite things to see updates on are pier west in new west, Oakridge park, and broadway subway. Cant get out to often to see as I live in ridge and only use transit You're doing a good service m8

It looks like the the small walls called parapets are being constructed that will run alongside the future Skytrain tracks.

This video looks like a few months ago.

Seems like that project has been put on hold. Probably due to interest rate. Will probably sit like that for several years. What a waste of land in the meantime.

I Bet the Rent will be Skyrocketing as Soon as it is completed!
