You did not change lanes in Pleasanton Valley for the man walking alongside Old 395 & now the bicycle. Man if the cops Ever catch you. You will be in Big Trouble. The cops can site, Give You a whopping Big Ticket or Go To Jail.

Cheating by taking the freeway. There is west 395. Ranches & houses. Must be in a hurry.

I remember as a kid of 10 in 1955, going through to and from Lake Tahoe to Reno when the roads were ALL under construction. We would have to stop for periods of time while BLASTING was done to widen the road for the NEW route. The roads were extremely narrow and dangerous. In fact, if anyone has ever seen "The Long Long Trailer," that's what it was like!" My folks had just bought a new Mercury, and the car was great on the road and certainly had to the power to climb to the over 6,000 ft altitude coming in from California. It was pretty exciting as a kid.

I just ordered a 2024 same color and rims as yours. I haven’t been this anxious since my children were born. This video is like one of those “what to expect when you’re expecting” books.

No way we're not going again. It's beautiful and all. But if you are the driving after you get up there seeing all those bear signs and you have to come back down from the incline, baby its a scary drive.

I was just thinking about the same trip last night. Tiffany Hadish is performing at the Cierra Hotel Reno, Nv. Thats where we stayed.

If you'd gone further, you would have reached the Devil's Gate, where the canyon narrows on both sides and, in old days, they blocked the road and collected toll fees. From your video, it looks like they're doing repair work on the old Forth Ward School. When the road drops just after the school (at the south, far end of Virginia City), that's one of the steepest grades in the entire West. I think it's a 15 percent grade, or something like that. You really drop. It's just a short S turn, Geiner's Curve, they call it. (not sure of spelling) I was always careful going down that. If you want to know what Virginia City was really like, when you go downtown (the main drag is C street) look at the second floor of all the buildings. The second floor didn't change much. The ground floors did. Also, while you're at it, go up to B street and look at the out door statue of The Angel of Justice on the Court House. Her sword is pointing into the ground instead of up, she does NOT have a blindfold, and her Scales are visibly tilted. One of the true classics of the Old West. Lordy, I miss that place.

I thought the Sunpass sticker needed to be physically touching the glass in order to work? Something about the metal inside the sticker that needs direct contact with the glass of the car in order to work. Can you reply and let people know if your way of installing indeed worked when driving through tolls with no problem?

My Melbourne Red 24’ wX Drive is currently at the port and should be at the dealer in about 20 days giver or take. It’s loaded minus the adaptive cruise control, and I also added the M Performance Exhaust. Total MSRP is a tick under $63k, which I think is pretty reasonable for what you get. My dad has a 23’ in Brooklyn Grey and loves it! Portimao Blue was my second choice behind the red!

Lots of curvy roads but definitely worth it..Lots of friendly people and a wonderful experience..

Do you prefer the M-lighting package for inside doors & the textured center w/ M-colors or would you have gone with the standard lighting instead? I'm on the fence with this decision before I put in an order for the '24 M240i x. I believe the '24 is exact to the '23, except for the slight price increase.
