This is the American Arms version of the Norton TP-70 / Budischowsky TP-70 and is a small, 4.65 inch long, .25 caliber pistol. This "pocket jewel" was originally designed by Edgar Budischowsky and produced in Germany as the nonimportable Korriphila TP-70. The frame was placed over the bezel. I did not cut the frame for the sensor. I think that there is some type of device that you can plug into the "One Connect Box" if you want the sensor to operate.

      @@manifestopian I found the parts and ordered them, thanks again. My confusion stemmed from the trigger bar spring, mine's broken and it had been re-installed in a way that made it look like that's how it's supposed to be except that it wouldn't push up the trigger bar, and the mag safety and screw are missing. I still have doubts about the gun's quality, mostly the metals being too soft, but I'll probably put a few rounds through it since I have a weird love for .25. I'm one of those few nut jobs that reloads .25 even tho it's a pain.

  • @DonziGT230
    @DonziGT230 2 года назад

    The barrel on mine has the serial # in light uneven stamping. It doesn't appear to be home stamped, and I can't imagine anyone caring to do it. As far as it being "a beautiful well made gun", sorta, but no. It is beautiful and has the appearance of being a well made gun unlike most pocket pistols, and it has 'big gun' features not normally found on pocket guns, but I have serious doubts about its actual quality. Mine appears to have had very little use, it's super clean, and was in the bag in the box when I got it. There's a ton of slop between the barrel and slide, not worn, but manufactured that way. There are several parts that already have obvious signs of wear/peening. The double action doesn't work. The slide hold-open doesn't work. The takedown pin to lever hole is super sloppy. The slide is a bit rough to cycle. I might shoot it just because I love .25s, but might just leave this one in the box.

    I have extensive experience with these, they are labeled as both Budischowsky and as Norton, the Former is more desirable from a collectors point of view. I have a matching set 22lr and 25, both with the same serial number! caliber marking is only difference. As for shooting, be careful, use standard ammo not high velocity. Lube the snot out of them to prevent galling and beware, the steel on the small parts is soft. Repeated firings will cause deformation. It is a reliable and well designed pistol, but if your looking for a Mouse gun you can shoot a lot of with high quality, the Walther TPH is a better choice. These are more for the collector.

The previous owner said here you go, you like puzzles, so see if you can figure out how this thing works. Well, best I can tell is that it's missing a trigger bar spring of some sort. I can turn it upside down and get the trigger to work. The grips were loose in the bag, so I laughed when I read this. I was looking for a schematic, and I found one, but it's not very useful. It lists #26, Trigger bar spring, but it shows nothing except a line... Would be cool to make this thing work someday.
