It's sad to see all this shit still contaminating the soil after a century...
There was approximately 7.1 trillion bullets fired during WWI. And approximately 193 million pounds of ordinance exploded, and 10,000 gallons each of flamethrower fuel burned and mustard gas released. All started when the Keizer of Austria was shot and killed during his motorcar parade through Vienna in 1914, by a French antagonist.
If you look carefully to can find Human Bones - it's a graveyard for thousand of Soldiers - Please be RESPECTFUL
I hope you got permission. It's illegal to go detect there due to its history!
J'ai trouvé plein de choses là-bas j'ai hâte d'y retourner😊
Great video we went in April to many sites including Arras and visited our great uncles grave we were the only relatives to visit in 107 years .We visited the Somme museum and on one plaque experts predicted it would take 700 years to clear the battlefields.
I would not go poking around especially shells! A dozen people a year are killed on old battle fields in Europe, and especially unexploded gas shells, mustard gas, chlorine gas etc
Quella terra e piena di ossa denti 😮
I proittili al gaz sono un problema
What's with all the, oh, this is cool, then just drop it stuff?
i want go to Verdun or somme to find this things an I hope to find a helmet ):

Just amazing. The ghosts of the past are coming out to haunt the way humanity is heading.
I can't imagine how incredible it must be to find such relics. Makes history come alive and confirms directly to the senses that WWI happened and isn't just a "true story" told through the pages of a book.
The sacrifices our forefathers made for the political elites financial gain is heartbreaking. Lest we forget ❤
Dude u guys are killing it , great finds , i would do anything to find stuff like that , from usa with love
If you keep playing with live ordnance, you're going to blow yourself up. It is not a question of IF, but a question of WHEN.. Leave it alone!
Terrible choice of soundtrack. Makes you come across as some sleazy graveyard robber.
The unbelievable sheer amount of men and material sent to this battlefield guarantees these finds will continue for many many years to come.
Seen a RUclips special that said France thinks it will be recovering unexplored bombs for 700 years …..
A hundred years from now, someone else will be posting something similar.
I dont know if I could handle that stuff, knowing it belonged to some poor kid that was blown to bits. So sad and such a waste of life 😢
Interesting video but annoying music. How about instructive narration instead?!
Tu regarderas bien le macaron de boucle allemande c pas got mit uns mais autre chose (TREUL … …… ?)
How often do you encounter actual human remains on these walks?
I believe around 09:55 you came across someone’s remains
Cool videos. What do you do with all the relics you find? I had relatives at the Somme on both sides.
Will the French authorities let you keep the things you find on the battlefield?
The debris of death.
У нас на востоке просто так по полю не походишь(Белорусь)
That was the war that changed history around the entire world. The fact that remnants are still being found over 100 after the battles is frightening and sad. So many young men fighting a deadly battle with so many people lost. My grandfather (who was born in Germany but moved to the U.S. as a teen) fought against members of his own family in that war. He rarely spoke about it, but he once told me that war never solves anything. He passed away in the 1980's at the age of 92, and he was honoured by the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy, as he joined both forms of the military in that war. He fought in the Army on the border of France and Germany, then he was shipped home and he enlisted in the Navy to help sink submarines.
I hope you leve those things there.
You can do away with the music!
The lame-ass music was totally inappropriate.
why has nothing grown there?
@katenickels617 It’s a ploughed field
That is ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING !!
Amazing to see what still lies around!
My Great Grandfather Robinson was excluded from the British army in WW1 for a heart murmur. He opted instead after the war to come to America. I exist because of this decision. He didn't live as long as normal. But he surely outlived his pals from Swansea who died in Flanders Field. Bless you Great-Grandfather! And bless those who suffered.
One day you'll find a grenade and than💥..........end of Keo channel.
You should have seen what was around on abandoned airfields in Essex, England in the 1960's!
Where is this
What are you doing with the relicts
Ou est ca?
Do you use a Metal detector any time ?
So you find a rusty, 100years old handgranade and you just like that pick it up? I wouldn't go for a walk with you...
I like the music
What are the cone shaped things you dug up?
They're nose cones from artillery shells, they're part of the fuze system that determines if the shell detonates in the air, on the ground, or below ground. Shrapnel shells were set to go off above ground in order to shower everyone below in a rain of heavy steel balls (@0:38), regular high explosive rounds were set to go off upon impact in order to cut down infantry in the open, or set to go off a fraction of a second later to either collapse trenches or penetrate into dugouts before detonating. Man's ingenuity at its finest...
Nice, BUT never touch explosives again!
kill the hideous background music not necessary
I'm 63 growing in hounslow in the 60s one of my main memories is of older men with missing limbs bless them 🙏 ♥️
