Testing DW board Pegasus, Slingshot v4 and Ozone flux. On F-one Sk8 750 180 stab

New toys! 🥳 The dw board Pegasus 110 l was awesome. Great as a downwind board in light wind with a wing and if you want to use less foil! It just wanted to go fast downwind! Thought it would be difficult to balance on, specifically the start, but it wasn't. 👌🏼👌🏼 I tried two awesome wings! Slingshot v4 4.5m had incredible grunt and power! The pistol grip is amazing too have! Ozone flux 4.3 had g...

    So is Swing V3 better for beginners and in gusty conditions than the Strike V3?

    Very interesting review indeed! Maybe you could help me decide what size my 2nd wing should be: I own the Strike V2 5.5. Should I add the Strike V2 4.5 or go even smaller with Strike V2 4? I weigh 68 kg. Thanks for your advice!

      🙏Depends on you conditions. But I would go for 3.5 :) And v3 not v2! :) Better material= last longer! You get more power from v3.

    The wind in Ayia Napa is usually not so great. However, just outside the town at Sirens beach the conditions get almost twice as good.

    • @Wingsurf
      @Wingsurf 11 месяцев назад

      Yeah isn't that great here. Is it that much difference? It's usually 10 knots in sandy bay. How much more is it in Sirens Beach? Thanks for helping me find the right spot :)

    • @andreaskaikkis
      @andreaskaikkis 11 месяцев назад

      In any given wind speed coming from SW it will be 2-3 knots more and much less gusty. Thats where all local kiters go in the summer. So if it is marginal at Sandy bay, you will have a nice session there and it is just 5 minutes drive from the town. In winter time when all sunbeds are gone we all gather at Makronissos beach.

    Hello, thanks for the video. Do you recomend the combo strike v3 4m2 + swing v3 5.5m2 or Swing v3 4m2 + strike 5.5m2? Or Swing v3 4m2 + Swing v3 5.5m2 ? For average rider of 50 years old.75kg. Riding on lac (15/35 knots ) and seas (30knots) downwind.

    Thanks, good comp. Pumping/getting to fly with v3 Strike is often criticised in Videos. You dont ageee? How do you pump to get out as easyy as with V2? Or isn 't as easy? Thanks!! Gerrit

    • @Wingsurf
      @Wingsurf Год назад

      Thanks! In the beginning pumping is always harder with new wings. Specially wings with high PSI. You could always pump the less then recommended PSI. Swing V3 and Strike V2 is easier too pump to foil. Strike v3 harder for beginner. But ones you adapted to the technique v3 is better in all aspect. Even getting up on foil. You generate more power with each pump. And gain sooooo much more with the newer wings (stability, flagging, upwind etc..). Hope this helps!

      I'm around 80 kg and 182 cm. Started wingfoiling in late May 2022. Before that in 2021 I started windsurfing (bought lots of freestyle stuff). Before windsurfing, I haven't been doing anything for about 10 years. Did some bodybuilding before that. Been ok at sports. I started with board, F-one Rocket wing 110 l, F-one gravity frontwing 2200cm2 and stab surf 300, wing F-one Swing 5m. In less than 1 months I changed to my 80l board (F-one Rocket wing), fell almost all the time before the swap. Started doing some jibies. Changed frontwing to F-one gravity frontwing 1800cm2. After 2 month maybe doing 50% of the jibes depending on the conditions. I changed to my frontwing to F-one Seven seas 1200Cm2 after 3-4 months. Had more speed in the turns, my jibe success went up to 70-90% (depending on the conditions). But I always want to learn new stuff, so I fall because of that. And after 7 months I bought my Sinker (F-one Rocket Wing S 42l ) and managed to get up in 2 min in flat water. Been sick/no wind after that. Hope I get well, so I can enjoy this wonderful life. Maybe I should do a videoclip about it...

      I jumped from 1800cm2 gravity to seven seas 1200cm2. The Fone expert said I should use the long stab and surf stab the first time. This setup makes the foil slower and easier when jumping from big foil to smaller foil. I changed to xxs stab and fence 250c (recommend setup) after that. :)
