11:00 simply discard recon immediately and draw another. A normal AI would not play that way. Both sides would run for the center and occupy the town.

Very good play through description. Have not played the game as yet, waiting for my grandson to join me, but the only improvement for your next run through would be to place the attack cards closer to the camera and readable. Thank you for the demo!

I like playing solitaire at times, and this could simulate two commanders, with me playing the role of an observer. I think this could work for someone playing solitaird.

I played this scenario against myself and the Germans were impossible to defeat

At 40:29, the german infantry couldn’t have taken a shot at the US infantry ? L.O.S. should be clear from center to center hexes, no ? Love this game, only thing that I don’t like is when a unit has taken damage, it attacks at full strength, while in C&C Napoleonics the dice are reduced due to the loss of fire power. I don’t have the board game, always play online, but if I had, I would implement that rule.

G'day mate, absolutely fantastic solo training video; was just about to pass Bloodborne by until I found your solo playthrough. Kinda makes it look easy yet I feel from the way you worked this starter playthrough the challenge will pick up. Playing Dark Souls at the moment and wish there was a playthrough that would help me like this as I am struggling. Dig the normal and layback way you cruise through the game. Pressing the buy button as soon as I finish this rant. Tkx mate having a smoke or two and a beer or two and cheering for your effort. Rgs Kozmo

Since the automatic players have no strategy (their plays are random after all), I think a good idea might be to handicap yourself in some capacity. Lowering your maximum health might be a way to do it, for example.

A newbie's question: at 36:53, the Allies rolled 2 flags. The Axis squad looks to me to have a line of retreat to their right/away from the attacking force. Was it a mistake to kill the Axis squad for being unable to retreat? (Around 46:05, something similar happens during which you probably answered my question. Although the retreating force could have moved away from its attacker, it is apparently not a "retreat" unless the squad actually moves back toward "its" end of the map. Interesting!) {Ha! The same type of failed retreat ends the game. I love it.}
