Athena is pretending like she’s not the one who ended it with Ody and she’s acting like she wasn’t the one who grew them apart by trying to make rush him and not letting go AND she never wanted to be friends with Odysseus she just wanted a warrior (also isn’t Telemachus like 20 in this song? Why does everyone portray him as a child)

I love how much more in depth Epic makes Athena compared to The Odyssey. Yes she is present there, but you feel her emotion so much more than you do reading the books.

This song hits far too hard than it should…I lost an ex girlfriend. She died from cancer. She and I were on and off again during the 6 months we knew each other. Her final night on this earth, she and an old friend of mine were constantly calling and texting me, trying to get ahold of me, and I never answered. I wanted to play my game contest of champions uninterrupted….the next day I woke up with the worst case of the flu I’ve ever had…and I found out she passed away a few hours after she tried calling me. I’ve always thought, “she knew it was her time…and she wanted to spend it with me. And another…the only two people she really had…” and I just found out about this song yesterday..her death was seven years ago…and the line “I could sleep at night” in this song, it hit too hard…” ironically enough….yesterday was also the anniversary of her passing

I sometimes noticed in animation of Wisdom Saga that people tend to forget that in these songs Telemachus is 20 yo and still portrait him as a child. Please don't hate me for this. This is not hate, just my own observation

In Legendary, Telemachus says he wants to bring the world some light. Here, Athena talks about Odysseus's light going dark and Telemachus advices her on how to get his light back and, in doing so, returned Athena's light. Also, the piano at the end of this song plays "legendary" instead of "I wanna be legendary" which Telemachus's full motif. I like to think this means Telemachus has become Legendary now (as opposed to only wanting to be).

Thank you so much for making Athena attractive. Most don't.
