The only madness is how bad the flying the mechanics are. Flying in the jets felt so heavy and clanky, this is by far the worst flying mechanics ever introduced in franchise.

I hope they ditch the 3rd person melee, or at least make it optional. It looks wack and takes you out of the action. Totally immersion breaking and not Battlefield at all... Oh and also, it breaks immersion even further when I can see what's behind me while doing the takedown. Like wtf!? Getting stabbed right when or after you are stabbing someone is a battlefield classic scenario.
