@@SonicFrake Well you know I just love strong underrated characters. On dimensionality the Belmonts are only comparable to the lowest aspects of Sadako, but I do feel that fight is interesting. They’re only chance of winning is if she decided to get physical with them but if she wills them dead there isn’t much they can do, especially if she puts maximum effort in. But that’s just my quick thoughts I think it’s a nuanced topic

@@Jotari No. I think you over estimate the pre Zero Mission federation if this same government thinks no upgrades base power suit Samus is literally doing missions “thought impossible by them”. The same federation that tried and failed to break Zebes. The Same federation who sent the cops to SR388 to kill the Metroids and failed. The same Federation that would be fighting against the Metroids used by the pirates to kill entire planets and would fail to stop that. The same Federation that didn’t even have a proper military for the first parts of the war and had their head of state nearly assassinated. Against Spade Pirates who would have captive Chozo, Ridley with a black hole using Ship and Metroids the federation cannot stop. No my friend I believe I estimated the Federation perfectly

@@theLoreRaiderOG If you assume they are completely stagnant and never actually learn or develop in response to the threat. We see by the time of Other M they have managed to replicate much of Samus' weaponry. It's bulkier in the case of the Plasma Cannon (though those ice guns seem to be very compact and effective) and, as I said, a lot more of them would die compared to one woman army Samus, but you assuming they are completely incompetent and would die en masse based on some isolated examples we only have knowledge of because the story is told through the lenses of Samus and this she is only relevant in the occasions where they have already failed once. If they didn't have Samus then their second response would be a squad of some other soldiers. And if they also failed then there would be a third squad, and another and another, learning from mistakes each time and gradually upgrading and upskilling. Humans tend to be resourceful, resilient and adaptable like that.

@@theLoreRaiderOG And? You think a militarizing state isn't going to advance and develop to a threat? If anything, without Samus to save the day for them, they would probably have developed even more powerful weapons for their infantry due to a greater necessity.

Keep in mind, most of the advanced tech the Federation later creates by Other M and Federation Force were all inspired if not replicated from Samus' arsenal. They saw how effective it was, they studied it to no end and finally incorporated into their own arsenal (even if not on the same level). In a *"Without Samus"* scenario, WHO are they going to base their counters against? How will they figure out freezing weapons as a counter to Metroids without Samus herself to share that information? Who would survive long enough to tell that? How long before they are overwhelmed by increasingly more and more planets overrun by Metroids? With no visible means to stop them? Would the IDEA of the mech suits and their battle tactics even exist without Samus to serve as inspiration? I genuinelly think our favorite Bounty Hunter and her Chozo tech contributed a lot to advance the Federation's technology and self-defense capabilities. Pre-Zero Mission Federation and ZDR-period Federation are two entirely different beasts, and it's all thanks to Samus' contribution.

@@theLoreRaiderOG I don't know about that dude, Gorea is tough, but he might not be THE biggest boy in play here. We don't know for sure if Gorea would have no trouble with Metroids, the Ing, Hyper Beams, Phazon, the X, EMMIs, or Raven Beak. We only know that casual Gorea tanks every weapon in the Prime Hunters lineup that isn't the Omega cannon.

@@wrangler212 I believe one of the Chozo in the manga mention how the Space Pirates stole brag tech somehow. I might have to make a video about “Metroid without the Chozo” but it probably eventually comes back to a Gorea victory in the long run

I'm not sure Raven Beak would trade with the Space Pirates, considering all the murals at ZDR showing the Mawkin battling them and kicking their ass. Maybe Ridley stole it from someone else.

Also it is worth noting that evidence which can be handwaved by “infinite multiverse” cannot be used to substantiate any argument. Cause demons like Phantasmaranae and Baal (Baal shouldnt be a species member since shes Inferno royalty) also did not recognise Bayonetta 3 Cereza, unlike their 'master', when that shouldnt be the case.

@@theLoreRaiderOG Kinda wish I had the time and hardware for that tbh, I've been replaying Bayo 2 using only Love Is Blue, with the goal of never going below gold medals. It isn't a very creative challenge, but it's still fun
