Just picked up a “new to me” 2021 Street Glide Special. Will do seat 1st and then shocks. I know for sure I’m not going with Progressive. Super Shox is currently in 1st place for me.

My heated grips did the same thing. I bought the heat shrink tubbing about a year ago and they look great.

You still rocking the super shox? If so do you still like them?

I put a set of SuperShox Premium on my '16 Road Glide Ultra. Stock shocks are 13", Brian's SuperShox are 14" but with his adapters the rear is dropped about 1/2" and you get an inch more travel. Got about 300 miles on them and they're great. The difference between 2.5 and 2 is very noticeable. Nice cushy ride. The front end needs help though so I'm looking for cartridges. By the way, you sound just like my uncle from New Jersey.

It seems like I am in the minority, but these shocks aren't any better than anything else I've tried and only incrementally better than the stock shocks. I've gotten a couple of hundred miles on these shocks and tried some adjustments, with no real increases in performance. The same harsh bumps that were a problem with the stock shocks, are not much better with these. I have a '23 Road Glide (Standard) Shock purchased: Super Shox Premium 13.5" FLH/FLT 02 - Present w/RelocationMount

Put an American Elite on the back of my 83 Goldwing a couple of years ago and it was a nightmare on wet roads! Even gearing down at 3500 rpm made it slip. From what I've gathered you need to have a VERY heavy bike in order for them to grip the way you want in the wet. I'm going to stick to the Dunlop 402 for this exact reason.

Installed them 2000 miles ago on my 2020 Road glide ultra limited. I love them very easy to adjust and the 1” it lowered real help at 74 as we all shrink.

Thanks for posting your review. I am considering Super Shox but I am researching what may be best option so thanks again for your review. I have a brand new 2023 Street Glide FLHX with less than 100 miles. I had the dealer install Chrome front lowers and decided to have him go ahead and install the Harley Profile Low Touring Front Suspension part # 45400218 at the same time. I understand that front lowering kit may be whats stock in your 2015 Low version but it did lower the front of my new bike a small amount. I understand my new bike has stock the low version adjustable spring shocks ( 12" stock shocks) and is shorter than the ST Street Glide. With my stock seat and me at 5'6" with a 29" +/- inseam and a bad right ankle I find I must lower this bike more! Sadly, even if I loose the ride but I need options. I reached out to Super Shox and was told with his setup I will drop 1/2" from what I have now. I don't think 1/2" will do it for me but... I am considering the 1/2" Super Shox may give me and perhaps changing my stock seat, or perhaps send my stock seat to Mean City Cycles and have the seat re-shaped? I could buy the Harley lower seat? After market brand lower seat? I considered the reach seat but it does not look right on my bike. I like the look of the reach seat with a tour pack but I will never have the tour pack. I don't like the idea of adding air ride as its $$$ but if it will fix my issue and be reliable I may would consider air ride or any and all options. Or do I just do a $100 Advanblack 2 inch lowering blocks and roll with my stock shocks for a bit and suffer with the ride but know I won't drop my bike! When you are aging, short and have a bum ankle, the idea of flat footing becomes #1 on the list. I do have a few questions for ( Other Side Of The Road) Q1 How did these Super Shox do with your girl on the back? Q2 How tall are you? Q3 I know you like the ride of these Super Shox over the Progressive but how is the Super Shox ride hight compare to the Progressive shocks? What size were those progressive shocks? Were those Progressive the ultra low version? I love the build quality of Super Shox and the knowledge, response and emails from the company is more than impressive so I hope I can become a a Super Shox customer but I got to get the bike hight down!

I own a 2014 dyna street bob, I recently locked my forks and now i cannot get them to unlock. Anyone have any ideas ? before I have to do the worst and remove the forks to take out the lock switch 🤦🏻‍♂️. Id really appreciate the help, thanks

The crossing of a double yellow line to pass is illegal in my state. Laws are made to be broken by some it seems, but then again, one day, karma will catch up. One day he may make a big impact in life, but the on lookers will not like to see it. Take care, ride safe.

Meh. That wasn't particularly asshole-ish; just stupid. Although clearly illegal, he really did have room to make those passes, and he crossed the double-yellow to do so, so there was no danger of him contacting or even crowding you. Are you in the wrong for not constantly keeping an eye on your mirrors? I wouldn't say so. When I think of sportbike assholes, I think of the morons who ride in groups (to egg each other on to stupider and yet stupider things) with no gear, doing triple digits, splitting lanes, riding the shoulder, popping wheelies, and generally doing all they can to create a lumpy stain on the pavement waiting to be hosed off -- all with a teenage girl on the back wearing next to nothing (including footwear) who clings for dear life due to the lack of passenger backrest. When I see those shitbags, I genuinely think to myself, "I hope you die." (Note that that does not apply to any relatively innocent passengers.)
