    Well, these holes will rupture in a matter of months, you can seal the needle hole with whatever, puncturing the rubber creates a stress rupture

    I appreciate the simplicity of this video! I would like to offer one suggestion for added caution. Always clean around your fill and drain ports before opening them. It just helps to minimize fine dirt particles from getting into the engine as well as the threads on the plugs.

    Did you have to do anything to the system before removing the supply and return lines when removing compressor from truck? Is anything under pressure?

      If I remember correctly it wasn't under pressure as the Freon cooling gas had already escaped.

      No socket used. Just 1/2 (half inch) break bar and 1/2 (half inch) ratchet drive

    Hi thanks..wondering what brand and model number is the horn? Ecco makes so many different types.. this one does not sound the same as the s185 backup alarm to me? More of a continuous tone? That’s what I’m looking for a loud continuous tone that stops when you let off the trigger…not a backup tone. Anyway thanks again!

    Mike, are the bolts on the outer filter grill original? My S300 has knobs which are trashed and I need to do something. Did you just go to the bolts for similar reason?

    After I use the needle, I use a cotton swab put permatex rtv on it and brush it over the rubber, seals everything till next time.😊

    Hey , those Lug nuts and studs need de-rusting and coating with preserver or that's another Huge job in the making - WD40 leaves a water resistant oily wax coating .

      @@David_does_it_all aftermarket ones buddy of mines got a 22' Denali 2500 HD it's sealed. And to my knowledge unless it's changed recently most of their heavy duty front end parts are from the 1500 and that's why they break tie rod ends.... Takes GM to use suspension parts designed for a 400 lb gas motor and put a small lift on it and a 1000 lb diesel motor on it
