I just bought a jar of honey that had honeycomb in it because I was SO curious of the texture, absolutely loved the texture but unfortunately I'm not a fan of honey on its own😅 Now I want to see if there is a way to make the flavor more enjoyable, so I'm gonna go ahead and buy some crackers as I already have brie cheese!

Can you not just put the honey in the same degree oven without the water so you dont have to change water so often because you still desolving at samt temp?

I thought this was going to be some interesting new thing. Heating up honey to melt sugar crystals is just common sense. How sad is our world where people need a video to teach them something they could have figured out by just thinking logically. A skill lost. The world is doomed!

Kudos !! Tried it and it worked like a charm! I used a sous vide to ensure that it was a stable 105 degrees. Best part: didn’t take 48 hours, only about 6. Big thanks!!!

One of our grocery stores finally has honeycomb available... I was actually in a jar of honey instead of just the honey coated comb in some packaging. I tried a small piece of it and the experience wasn't bad. I enjoyed it. I just put it in the mouth and chewed the wax with honey and swallowed it all. What I figured out though is not to chew the wax too long. It kinda balled up in small balls and started tasting like wax, lightly. So I won't chew it up so long next time. It did take quite a bit of chewing to taste like wax, so... But the experience was still good for me and I'm happy with it. I waited so long for the stores here to have it available.

And here i am just thinking i will eat mine like a chocolate bar 🤷‍♂️
