This is a real bass player I stumbled on a nikki sixx bass solo and read the comments and ppl where just saying how good of a bass solo it was and I was like I guess they have never heard of ROBERT TRUJILLO 🤘🏽🤘🏽the real bass man

Cliff is and Artist Jason is cool but plays Bass like guitar Rob is an actual Bassist I love all three so no bias opinions but for me rob was a bigger influence on me because he is a Latino bass player in metal and as a Latino metal fan it warms me to see a Latino metal bassist

You give Cliff too little credit. He had a fantastic talent for arranging and coming up with unorthodox parts. Just listen to the little fills and melodicisms that pop up in most Metallica songs he played on. Not to mention how he helped with songwriting on the next two albums.

Well dipshit sorry to tell ya, Trujillo actually has more than Cliff had (which is quick fingers and a distortion pedal), If you actually listen to Suicidal Tendencies/Infectious Grooves you'll hear what Trujillo actually has to offer.

I'll admit I wasn't too impressed with Rob at first but, I must say my opinion of him is changing after hearing this. Pretty badass I must say.

I grew up with Jason on bass and will always cherish that version of Metallica a bit more. But as Cliff and Jason where the best in their era's of Metallica, Rob is the best for this one. If Metallica wanted anybody different they would have found someone different when they auditioned people. Personally I'm not always on board with Rob's bass sound (and I don't like 5-strings) but I really like the way he plays.
