@bobeli1 its not supposed to be realistic. Its supposed to look cool and Star Wars-y. Just likenit was in prequels. This is only a training drill, by the way. And we are actually aiming at each other bodies, not sabers. Specifics of prequel choreography and swordplay make it look like we are aiming at sabers, but we are not.

We know it’s not realistic, but we’re going for a highly stylized prequel style, and we think it looks cool for stage performances.

I did check them out and i'd like to leave some feedback if that's okay :) nemesis was awesome, it had the same amount of speed and aggression as in this short, choreography was very good, but i'd like to have seen the same amount of character design and a story like you did in hunters fall. Hunters fall was awesome, the story and characters was great, but it lacked the flare and speed in the choreography, It probably has something to do with it being a double bladed lightsaber fight, I can only imagine how hard it must be to move fast with that thing. Anyhow, the speed and aggression is what makes a saber fight look good and believable and if you would combine the best parts from both fan films I think it would be absolutely incredible! I wish you luck in the future fan films to come, I subscribed!

Disagree, wider hilt let’s you deliver stronger strikes and the two blades let you attack twice as fast. Twice as many areas to block and defend, the only trade of is possibility of hitting yourself but then again, each blade is retractable, so you can use just one or two depending on the situation.

@@resentedkhumbo7479 none that we can share atm. :( But to explain his laziness: his character is arogant powerful sith lord, while the purple saber is a fallen jedi grasping for balance. Thats why there is an accent on purple saber guy catching his arm. He slowly goes more powerful while getting his Force balanced.

⁠​⁠@@RussianSaberfightingnot to hate, but ive heard that excuse several times. Sure, it’s fantasy not meant to be realistic but that doesn’t mean you can’t have realistic aspects of combat incorporated into the choreography. Like, don’t have your back exposed to an opponent. Incorporating thrusting attacks since the lightsaber has no edge and wouldn’t need to be swung in order to cause damage. An actual lightsaber fight would be much more dangerous and end 10x quicker.

@clank0ta404 how many lightsaber fights u did by this book? We want to see some :) Everything you see in our video is meant to be like that. We WANT it to be flashy. We WANT it to be unrealistic in some places to be mor interesting to watch. I get what you are saying, but most of the people telling us that those fight are unrealistic, cant back it up with their own work.
