These ponies are horses and not toys and need to be treated as such with respect, love and discipline even tho they do love to be loved... Most of them.

One of the worst things one can do is teach your young miniature pony to stand on your shoulders. This is not animal affection is teaching him that rearing up at a human is acceptable when it is actually dangerous. Maybe not to a large adult but to a child. Please don't do this

I am interested in miniature horses because it will satisfy my horse craze, I am very horse crazy…. I mostly want a mini as a companion and to help around my future homestead, mainly pulling a small cart and maybe carrying a couple saddlebags. Normal size horses make me a little uneasy, but a miniature horse should be fine.

I am going blind from eye/brain cancer. I would rather have a mini horse than a dog any day. I grew up with big drafters. A mini can graze in the yard give poop for the garden and pull a little cart for errands. I hope to find help in Ontario Canada to get a mini and train it to my needs.

Feeling very lucky after watching this video. I love my Fjord boy. He's been a pet his whole life. He's 18 now and never been broke. I put a saddle on him and my husband got on and other than being clumsy under the weight, he was a teddy bear. That's a Fjord for you.

Well it would be very incorrect to say that arabian horse and indian ponies bred to result in marwari. although many marwari have high arabian dna but that is a result of medieval breeding programs by indian kings. The marwari has existed for a long time. During ancient times greeks and romans noted that persian army had arab camel riders as bedouins were in the process of breeding the arab horse to perfection. where as there are coins of chandragupta and kanishka featuring gaited breeds (marwari is gaited) with a little curve at ears (just like marwari). although some horse like arabian did exist in egypt and the arabia indians would have prefered the nisean and its descendent turkoman over them (they were not perfect till now). persians had indian cavalry force (not ponies). so this proves that marwari or its ancestor are not arabian but still marwaris have arab dna which was introduce afterwards.

This video could potentially cause harm. Nothing is better than real life experience around leaders that can teach and show you. Who ever made this AI video needs to remember you're giving advice about animals that weigh well over half a ton typically and some people will believe whatever this video says especially young people.

Plz do your homework before you talk about horses genetics! Roan is white hairs on another color. The fjord horses ALWAYS have dorsal stripe for example since it's ALWAYS found on horses that are dun in any color so the dorsal stripe is not just in a few breeds.

Wow, I just found this video and I am in love with these beautiful animals!!!!! I’m an old man who grew up in the 1950s and as a kid, I wanted to be a cowboy so bad!!! I’m 72 years old and I wanted to be a cowboy so bad when I was a kid. The first time I saw this beautiful animal I was in love with it. I had dreams of riding a horse across the prairies of the west. I’m an old man now and I love reading books about cowboys, cattle drives and other western stuff. This is my favorite breed of horse.🐎

I am glad you gave # 1 title to Akhal Teke horse. I come from Iran and was born near Turkmenistan Border. I grew up living with these horses as well as Arabians. In Iran we call them Turkman horses. It was the Russians who called them Akhal-Teke. Turkman horses are one owner horse or his/her family horse. You must live with them to ride them. Basically they give ride to family members only. In Iran popular ''opinion '' is : Arabian is the most beautiful horse, but Akhal-Teke or Torkman stands out on coloring , tallness and slenderness. One horse from Iran that I must mention here is the Caspian horse for children . It is not Pony but very small horse that some might think it is mule . I made that mistake when I saw one for first time.. Thanks god for Americans' love for horses, we have more Caspian horses in America than in Iran. It almost went extinct in Iran. Rescue credit goes to madam Luis Firuz. Long story on that, do your internet search for more. If you are looking for a gentle trustable horse for children , do your search on Caspians.
