Radiating Orb stacks up to 10, and on a paladin you can do that each turn, while having ridiculous AC and saving throws.

@@Kouenwin That's why i said it's more potent on wizard c: I've actually recently did the same to Orin on honor, stacking 10 RO with 1 cast. AC is only slightly lower (23), but the saving throws are obviously much better on pally, that's not even a question c:

That's interesting. I never tried what would happen if you don't honor the duel. I'm glad you managed to make it work. Multiclassing into a caster does give you more smite slots, and is probably better than pure paladin. I personally like to use pure classes. Mostly just because I like to see how they handle Honour Mode.

I'd suggest trying pure Oath of Ancients. It requires a good aligned character, but at lvl7 you get resistance to spell damage, and you become ridiculously tanky.

The Sacred Star ( bg3.wiki/wiki/The_Sacred_Star ). It has a +1d4 Radiant damage on it, so it works nicely with Radiating Orb gear.

In this particular fight using smite wouldn't have mattered. Basic melee attacks do radiant damage, which procs Radiating Orbs. The only way Orin was able to hit me was with a Nat 20. But in general on boss fights you do want to just nova the boss down with all your slots.

Tbh camp supplies are ridiculously easy to come by in this game, unless you just refuse to loot any containers.

Nice! Barbarian is a lot of fun. Yeah I was trying to no-damage Orin, but she unfortunately has an ability that just does damage even if you save it. Her normal melee attacks needed a Nat 20 to hit me though.

It's not a competition. Radiating Orb is just a fun build to use. Abusing stealth is also very exploit-y, which I don't like to do myself.

If you play Dark Urge you can duel Orin. Just you vs her.

@@Kouenwin yeah Orin is pretty fragile, if it turns out daddy has another favorite she goes "1 v 1 me bro!" harder than a 12 year old playing call of duty.

I think she's untouchable because she's Wyll's patron. It's a shame, I'd like to fight her, but in the mean time debuffing her is fun lol.

With me Karlach was the only one who survived 😵 i took a short rest and changed them from my party from now on all elevators they will pass one by one

Knight-Enchanter got nerfed at one point. It's really good if you want to be an immortal tank, but it doesn't have the best dps I don't think. Anyway, the build in my video is for handling crowds, which KE is not good at.

I agree; lightning spells are cool, and more varied than the fire spells. Fire spells are mostly just "I put fire under you" :D. The build I used in the video isn't great for bosses, so I wouldn't call it optimal. Dragon Age games are all about you being the hero, or anti-hero, and a big part of it is playing what you think looks cool.

Yeah probably not the most efficient damage-wise. More just a fun thing you can do as a mage. If done right you can probably go on forever with that combo. Wouldn't use it on single targeth though.

Its not rift mage mistake, its bioware mistake to make a class become too OP.. thats shouldn't happen, why bioware nerf the KE so much, but never nerf the artificer.. its so confusing.. Both KE (before nerf) and Artificer are the most broken class, then why only nerf one

Haha. Yeah I'm not sure if that slipped in by accideny from Bioware. Mama back + no cooldown seems like it shouldn't be a thing.

Hey, you play the game exactly the way you want to. There's no "better" or "worse", Dragon Age: Inquisition is a piece of art, and you enjoy it your own way :). I kinda stumbled on this build by accident, I was just trying new spell combos. I'm by no means an expert at the game.

@@Kouenwin true, I love inquisition because you can really play very good with any class with any spec at any difficulty) No limitations and it is mostly balanced

@@fraisertinko I think Inquisition did a good job with the classes making all fun in there own way usually I tend to play with the rouge but Im this I tend to play with the warriors with champion and Templar.

This build relies on enemies getting the 'weakened' status, so for dragons I'd go for a support build yeah.

If you have a warrior I suggest to put in your build to the death and the combat roll ability with the update that does 250% damage. It's bugged and it does 600% damage. I've taken level 20 dragons when I was just lvl12.
