im just trying to justify the $$ vs the wild track trim. approx 20K more this is going to be a vehicle I keep for a very long time 15+ years.. I work from home. Car gets very minimal driving. Would buy it bc its bad ass and I want something fun. raptor vs wildtrack hmmm

#1) this truck is competing with the Wrangler so it's gotta have some competitive features which obviously can be pricey, #2) if you are in the Wrangler market then this should make you think twice #3) if u want a glide ride get a Benz or a RANGE ROVER, #4) it's a beautiful throwback and paying Homage to the old school Bronco classic truck.. #5) if ur sandy cl#t is bothering you then maybe don't buy one, #6) Jeep Rubicons can be very pricey also. #7) this truck rocks they have alot of modularity and upgradable coolness. wenches, bumpers, tires, rims, Hardtops, upgrades, and interior customization. etc.. etc.. etc.. these things are awesome. I can hardly wait to buy one.

Im glad that it has the name "Maverick." Its out there, it is in its own category, a new little truck free in the wild. Its a maverick!

I despise the Navy Pier and Orange interior. So, I now have to pay for the Midnight black package to get the Onyx seats and dark interior that still has some blue in it. The blacked out emblems and wheels are nice but now it's an extra cost just to not hate it. I went to the dealer and looked at a Mavrick and the salesman started it up and it sounded cheap, tinny and like something was lose. I actually declined the test drive. They were asking 33k for the XLT AWD and I couldn't see driving it when I wasn't going to buy that truck. I'm waiting for the 2025 and hopeful they do something about the interior with more black and dark grey options without the package. I really hope they release the Lobo trim in 2025 considering they trademarked the name. I really would like the "ST/RS" trim with a "street truck" look and Sport theme. Lowered with 19 or 20" wheels, AWD and a manual 6-speed. I don't even care if they bump up the HP or not because the 250HP is enough for this size truck.

So here’s what I think, I’ve owned 14 jeeps and my latest was a 2023 jeep 392 I picked it up on New Year’s, I installed everything you could on it to make it better lift kit tires wheels driveshafts you name it I did it, I took a long trip in the jeep and it exhausted me, I test drove the bronco and fell in love with it it’s amazing and I love it, I purchased the same day, in comparison the 392 is just crazy fun but it’s a hot rod, The raptor is a hot rod but cleaner more precise a lot more comfortable I can easily go on a trip with this thing no problem, I go into the mountains in the back country a lot to hike all day and I usually come out when it’s dark now I can fly on those forestry roads to get out, I never realized what Ford did but I really do feel they did a great job with the bronco raptor. The problem is as I’m driving my new bronco now I still wave to the jeeps out of habit it was a Jeep thing ha ha. In regards to cost for example my jeep 392 I did most the labor myself and still put over $20,000 in it, the bronco raptor is basically good to go, I will admit it’s hard to not want to modify it but out of the box it’s amazing I feel the only thing it really needs is a front winch and if you rub the sidewall of the tires I would go with a heavier duty sidewall tire but it’s amazing

I didn't like the dial on my 22 at first either, but then I realized drive and park are just a blind spin of the dial. Now I like it.

I have a '23 Wildtrak and it is great. I have the Black Shadow, fully loaded including the Fox system. I did not have to pay $90K + for mine. I really like the looks of the Raptor, but the price?

Just wanted to say, yes MPG are not good by any means. I just got my new Bronco Raptor this week. All Black and it's COOL! LoL 248 miles today on highway from OK to NM and my Trip monitor read 18.7 MPG. NO joke. drove 72 Max, on 2 lane highway down to 62 at times waiting to pass. I'm totally Happy with it and worth every penny over Sticker! Better than any Wrangler I've had and I've had 3 of them. Get it if you can!

Hey, if you take off the backseat’s headrests and put them under the back bench, does the back seat drop all the way? It seems like it might.

Only downside that bummed me out is the top speed. In California it would have to hit at least 75mph.

Nice review, but reliability is still questionable and the 2.0l engine has had high failure rates. The same for the Bronco. Toyota is designing their own version to compete with the Maverick and I will always choose Toyota over Ford any day. I had bad luck with our last Ford a 2015 Fision its engine failed early on and we serviced it well it was not our fault. Google the high engine failures of the 2.0l engine and I would be worried once it is out of warranty to possibly shell out 8-10 grand for a new engine.
