SUPER,,,👍✌️🤝
Cool 😎
Inner diameter of rings: 9.8 (original Victorinox) and 14.7 mm
You literally changed the deluxe tinker into extreme tinker 😂
Thank you! 👍 I might refer to it as extreme Tinker actually from now on 😅
didn’t show the tools.
good idea‼️😎
tnx for share this metod‼️👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks for the comment 👍. It took me almost 35 years to come up with this method..first time I had a Victorinox (Champ) close on me was in 1989 and my thumb has still not recovered fully.. hopefully this will save some fingers out there😊
Hello. Very nice. Cheers from 🇧🇷
Thank you! 🙏
Nice trick! As a fellow fpv pilot and sak fan I am always on the lookout for cool battery strap uses and sak tricks and this ticks 2 boxes! Great way to add a little bit of extra safety! Subbed!
Thank you! 🚁 👍
Deluxe Tinker?
Thanks 🙏

I’m the 101 ❤ PS.: please don’t test your knife lock like that. Safety first.
@@namelesskethank you and welcome 👍 Yes I agree, dont repeat this. Use It for whittling and drilling and such
Victorinox - did you intend for the hook to be used like this all along?
🤭
Rubber bands 😂
😅
Whats the model number of the newer version?
I'll check tomorrow 👍
Just found your Chanel….Nice to see some practical situations documented for a change, instead of the usual bench top reviews. I work offshore myself, in the diving industry, I hope you get more followers soon. I’ll try and put the word around👍
@@scramblerkrush5088 Thanks a lot for your feedback and assistance! I truly appreciate it. 🙏

Nice mod. Wish the side carry option came standard. My OHT sheath has both options and I wish leatherman didn’t limit it to only the tactical-type sheaths
@@jooky5Yes, I agree that Leatherman should give the same options. Thanks for the comment 👍
As much as the liner lock is sturdier I’m not of fan of it being lefty and I do find the slide lock more convenient
Yes thats understandeable. Maybe that's one reason they moved from The slide lock as its really inconvenient for everybody not right handled.. I would prefer if Victorinox just gave us more options to choose from though.
@@SwEDC agreed!
I use my knipex cobra pliers multiple times per week but never thought to take them traveling until now. I currently use the discontinued leatherman style ps but they don’t have the best pliers
The knipex cobra Pliers are awsome. Add a Leatherman ratchet driver and some bits and you almost have a toolkit. I carry a ps4 sometimes. If I werent so afraid of loosing it to tsa I would travel with it. A mystery Leatherman discontinued those two.
Not mm ofc: tenths of mms
Ah the leatherman ratchet tool. The holy grail of leatherman accessories
Yes indeed 👌
isn't "plyers" spells pliers?
@@genuinejojo Yes that is correct. Thank you for pointing that out 🙏
Do you know anything about Terhi Valmet outboards ! I have one and don't know anything about it !
@@nikoskag816 No I have never owned one. I would start with trying to find an exploded view of the engine by searching om the model and serial numbers. Also try to find an older ouyboard engine mechanic who has worked on valmets... Do some calling to marie service shops and hopefully you will find som help and a spare parts cathalogue and /or exploded view.
I bought my skipper (slide lock) shortly before the change and it has the partially serrated blade. The older screwdriver/cap lifter is not listed as a pry bar like the later version.
@@hitchpost5822 I will be looking for that version on ebay 😅
When the 111mm models were upgraded with the liner locks they also upgraded the rivet/ pivots (increased there diameter)
@@hitchpost5822Thank you for that information! Yes, that makes sense. Im not surprised victorinox would match heavier duty tools with upgraded rivets as their quality is unmatched
You have unique actually practical take on edc. Keep up the good work
@@wupaaa thank you! 😊👍
Hi, thank you for the videos. I have an similar problem with the ignition, But I’m missing a 3rd part? What was the solution?
There was a vacuum leak in the crank case, not in the reed valves, even though there likely was a leak there as well. I would have saved a lot of time by searching for vacuum leaks first before tearing everything down... My final conclusion is that don't buy an engine that so old that the manufacturer 1. Can't provide spare parts (for example gaskets) 2. The manufacturer can't provide am exploded view, as you work in the dark. If you are an experienced mechanic this might be less of an issue, but if you lack the experience you really need schematics and oem spare parts. There are some parts for the 6a but they are more expensive than the same part for 6b, so keeping a 6a alive will either require you find used parts, you manufacture parts, or you pay overpriced parts off ebay

Thanks! 🙏
One addition to the video. I'm adding a T15 bit again as I've been needing one several times around the summer house recently. Might be seasonal what bits you use..
Nice video especially showing Lederdude ratchet working with Victorinox

That deluxe thinker is my second choice beside the swisschamp
@@allanjonalisidro7007 my fist victorinox 30 or so years ago was a swisschamp. I have it with me now when I'm on my way to Norway camping
Was there in 2017 after hiking the Kungsladen. Nice place to discuss tools. Nice modding.
Thank you! 👍 Never hiked kungsleden. Been on sörmlandsleden mostly. Might try it out.
Please tell me if you have the same lock with the same wear
3x2 + 2 = 8
The easiest way is to install an electronic ignition system from Tohatsu 9.8, slightly filing the ignition coil core so that it does not touch the flywheel. The gap in the spark plugs should be 1mm, then the engine will work perfectly on both cylinders without failures
Thank you for the information 👍
Locking of the main blade in next video
I enjoyed your video. There are not very many of those old Yamahas around. Nice find.
Thank you!
