Yeah there is some ghosting, it's usually not too bad but at times can be very noticeable especially on weapons you hold, in my opinion even with the ghosting it is still a great game to experience in VR.

I do not know, I own it on Steam but not sure if that is a requirement.

@@ahmedkadrz I get around 50fps but it is still pretty smooth in my headset, I set the VorpX cap framerate option on at 66 percent, I also have fsr on in the game settings, try adjusting some settings see if you can get it to perform well, it is a great experience in VR if you can get it working good.

​@@VRFlat2VRGaming Yes, that's the version I have. When I tried it in current version Cyberpunk 2.13, vorpx wrote a report that it works on 2.12. I downgraded Cyberpunk from 2.13 to 2.12 and it still doesn't work. A flat cinema screen with a 3D effect appears in the headset. But not full VR.

@@KasugiNakamura After I updated Cyberpunk, I downloaded & installed the updated VorpX mod, I think there was text that popped up saying the mod was designed to work with an earlier version of the game, ignore it, Ralf just forgot to update it as he explains in his post - www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/cyberpunk-2077-2-13-odd-issue-beforeafter-new-vorpx-standalone-update/ the standalone mod works with 2.13 for me with no problems so far.

It's pretty simple, just download the free VorpX standalone VR mod from here - www.vorpx.com/cyberpunk-vr-download/ then use the .exe file to install, once installed just start the game which will put you in the VorpX VR start screen which gives you information about the controls, Read through them then enter the game, Once in game use either the delete key on keyboard or click left analogue stick on controller to bring up the VorpX menu if you want to change any settings, I would also suggest changing the resolution in the game settings to a resolution that gives a good picture in your headset, I use a resolution of 2560x1600.

I just start VorpX then launch the game from the Rockstar launcher, most times the game will crash on first try but then it usually works 2nd or 3rd try for me sometimes it takes even more tries, I use an Oculus Rift S with the VorpX settings set to use Steam VR. I seem to be one of the lucky ones that it still works for, I have read others can't get it to work at all.

VorpX is what allows me to play in VR, i also have mods installed but none of them have anything to do with allowing me to play in VR. If you already own VorpX then it is worth trying but if you do not then i would not recommend purchasing it if your intention is to play RDR2 in VR as it may not work for you, it seems to work for some but not others. There is this mod on Nexus - www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/3446?tab=description but it did not work for me when i tried it, don't think it works on copies of RDR2 using the Rockstar launcher which is what i have & i don't think it works with other mods either.

I updated my game earlier & installed the latest Vorpx standalone vr mod, everything still working good for me so far.

I'm not sure at the moment, next time I'm playing I will check & let you know, I can say that it feels pretty smooth in the headset, I get the odd hiccup but nothing so bad as to stop me enjoying it in vr.

I did not, thanks for the info, personally I prefer using a gamepad so I can be lazy & play while lying on my couch :)

It's a great experience in VR, looks very good in my headset when using a resolution of 2560 x 1600, not blurry but there is some ghosting effects. I'm not very good at commentary so try to keep it to a minimum, thanks for the suggestion though I will keep it in mind.

When using VorpX there is a feature called edgepeek mode, turns it from VR into a floating screen in front of you, makes it easier to use game menu screens, pressing the right analogue stick on a gamepad is the button that does it for me but it also does it automatically in certain situations.

I just start the game with VorpX on, it can sometimes take between 1-10 game restarts before it will actually work for me, for some people it does not work at all, if you have VorpX give it a try but if you don't already have it then I would not recommend purchasing it for the purpose of playing RDR2 in VR as it may not work for you. Yeah it would be cool to see on a roleplay server such as WildRP or something although when using VorpX with RDR2 you do not have a body in first person view & third person controls don't work properly so probably would not be good for that.

@@Ebani if you mean me I only tried Ross mode it’s fine and I will continue using it and maybe buy virtual desktop but, not before getting a more powerful PC . I will keep you updated once doing that.

I have not tried the Ross vr mod, the VorpX mod works well for me & looks good in my headset so I stick with that.

It runs pretty well for me, occasional frame rate issues but I just turn the resolution scale setting down a bit then back up once I'm out of the area. Yeah I have heard some folks can't get it to work at all, it can sometimes take me between 1-10 game restarts before it will actually work without crashing at the start screen. I didn't do anything special, just start VorpX & load up RDR2 & wait for it to hook, I seem to be one of the lucky ones it still works for. If you already have VorpX i would say it's worth testing to see if it will work for you as it is a great game to experience in VR but if you don't have VorpX it's not worth buying it for the purpose of playing RDR2 in VR as it may not work & if it does it can be a pain simply getting it to start without crashing.

Absolutely worth it, it has some annoying things such as when it goes into edge peek mode during some conversations with NPC's but overall it is an amazing experience in VR.

I think the only UEVR setting I changed was the rendering method to synchronized sequential.
