Hello and welcome!
My name is David Koch but a lot of people call me Cookie.
I’m a trumpet player and since January 2019, I’ve been making videos right here in my home studio. They range from short solo clips to trumpet ensemble pieces and more. I’ve always got new projects in the works, so please subscribe to keep up-to-date on new content!
I feel like this channel provides me with a unique opportunity. Over the years I’ve attended lots of conferences, competitions, and festivals. Through these, I’ve made friends from around the world. My main goal is to showcase my friends’ music by recording and promoting it here. Another goal is that I want to make an effort to feature works by composers from groups that are underrepresented in classical music. I’m not going to write off the repertoire we all know and love, but I feel like it’s my duty to share this music with the world.

You're welcome! I'm glad to see my older videos still getting some views and that they can be of benefit to people! This was largely an isolation project and I had no plans that these would still be applicable in the future, but I'm so glad for it now. It's also inspirational to keep making videos (aka pick the projects back up)

Many years ago Michael barrymore did a show . These two brothers young lads played this iam sure .it was devine . The cornet trumpet sound has stayed in my memories. I can't find that clip on you tube for love nor money .
