The truth is her weight went up and down but she stayed more on the skinnier side of the hourglass figure - she wasn't necessarily a 'thicc hourglass' by today's standards ❤

Terrific, informative interview. A fine well written biography. Christina Rice has a very informative, readable, light touch. Her biography of film actress Ann Dvorak is also excellent.

What a great interview. Greg is a sweetheart! If anything, the public's curiosity about Marilyn (and love) seems stronger than ever. Her image is everywhere. We owe it to her to 'keep Marilyn real' and call out fake quotes, Photoshopped pictures and myths that prevail today. It's the least she deserves. PS: What's sad is that the official Marilyn Monroe social media accounts often get it wrong as well. Marilyn Remembered is a great resource for those who want to discover the real, wonderful, complex human being she was.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have visited Marilyn Monroe's home on multiple occasions. The grounds had a hauntingly dark atmosphere, particularly at night. It is widely known that she was murdered, yet people remain too fearful to openly speak the truth about what happened.

I love, love, love Marilyn's home. I pray it remains! I love that it exists very much as it has always looked even with the updates. I visited outside the gate in the late 90's. It was the only address I knew by heart in LA. it's interesting that Marilyn ironically didn't want the public to see where she lived, but to keep some mystery.

I know you are experts, but I had read that at the last minute a few stitches to Marilyn's gown were just placed so the zipper laid flat at the closure. Also, wasn't the souffel material multi-layered because it was so thin? To me the dress was the holy grail of MM items. Since Kim K ruined the dress with her huge (EGO), I only hope Marilyn's Brentwood home will not be torn down or moved as long as I live.

What a marvelous country Marilyn... do not enter it with dirty feet... because each of you has a lot of your own fears and phobias.... she flew her life like a bird before the flight of which you are very far away. no family, no husband, no children, no mother, no sisters.... Only inside is a little girl Norma Jean.... Tenderly keep the universal Eternity dear Marilyn and swing her on your swing... R... I.... P....... .........

Heartbreaking. It’s comparable to grave robbing and putting on someone else’s skin. That garment was so iconic and associated with one woman in history so much so that it is almost a part of her. This was the ultimate in disrespect and irreverence for history all in the name a vanity. Shame on her and shame on Ripleys. What’s next, Jackie’s pink suit?
