Next time you drop your phone in the water, as soon as you get it out, immediately, put it in a bucket of freshwater flush all of the salt out of it completely. Then put it in a small container of 90% rubbing alcohol. Shake it around in the alcohol. Give it a little time so that the alcohol can displace all of the water. Take it out of the alcohol and shake it out the best you can. put it in the oven and bake it on a very low temperature. You don’t need heat. You just need dry air. The longer you wait the better. I would not be surprised if you could get a phone working again. I flooded the control unit on my metal detector, in salt water, and I used this method, and my metal detector works to this day. 10 years later.

9:33 Your math doesn’t seem right. If you have a 36’ boat at $2/ft 2 nights is only $72 (not “hundreds”. If $72 is the cost of a month storage that place would have a waiting list for years. Also $110 to clean the bottom is pretty reasonable. You’re paying the labor cost, water, electricity or fuel to run the equipment and you’re taking up the time this expensive gigantic lift is holding your boat in the air while they do it. And taking up time they could be hauling out other boats.

Interesting. Like most new videographers it takes a while for them to realize that the audience does not want to see them, but the scenery or subject matter. Looking forward to seeing the Bahamas. What part of Canada are you from?

@@sailingEV888 Good, you have the knowledge to produce great videos if you get behind the camera more often with very little face time. We want to see you succeed. Andrew Camarata is a perfect example of how to be successful on RUclips and make big money. We’re from NS, good luck.

Yeah, lived 7 years on a 52 footer, ferrous cement schooner mid cockpit. My father built it, he is Dutch, say no more.... Marine life cannot be described. Just do it, fyi, not easy, but nothing good in life is. You will create the best freindships of your life with a boat! Boaters are amazing.❤
