This is the first time Bill was mistaken for a cop in his entire existence and he was utterly flabbergasted. XD this is now canon in my brain train and nothing is ever gonna change that.

Taking a second acknowledging the parallels between Stan trying to fix both Ford's science project and the portal to get his brother back but constantly fail as he beats himself up for not being smart enough. I'm sad again.

“Are you a cop,” that line killed me. I love the idea that Stan is so stricken with grief that he refuses to believe that any part of him would create an imaginary teacher who tried to give him a glimmer of hope. Really sad when you think about it, but it totally fits into Stan’s reasoning for not trusting Bill.
