Long Way Round was brilliant. Long Way Down was mostly whinging about sand, and Long Way Up was just a gimmick using electric bikes. I hope this one can bounce back.

LWU was simply a propaganda/advertisement series for Harley and Rivian. I own a Zero DSR and I can barely make a round-trip commute to work with it. There is Zero chance I’d use that bike for a trip across my own State let alone through multiple 3rd world countries. Hopefully a new addition to the series will go back to its roots. Two capable bikes, two capable riding buddies traveling the world. The first two were cold and exploded an untapped industry.

The motorcycle industry owes them so much for what they’ve done. Most hardcore motorcyclists will never admit that 😊

Again, no mention of expensive EPA regulations that suck large amounts of productive profit. KTM even kissed their butt the most. #1 one reason,---again no mention in any vid.

Quirks of fate sometimes make an enormous difference. KTM said no to sponsorship, BMW said yes. KTM is in a spot of financial difficulty now & the BMW GS remains the largest selling bike in its class, (what CLASS)!

I don't think the geopolitical climate would allow it but I'd love to see "Long Way Back" where they ride the original route from Long Way Round in reverse. I'd love the idea of going back to the same locations a couple of decades later to see what's changed, for better or worse, and what's stayed the same, for better or worse. I don't think they'll venture out quite that much again though.

I really enjoy watching these tours, the last one, long way up wasnt as good because it seemed to be more about everything peripheral to the actual adventure but not alot about what made the others fun to watch, always wondered why they havent done asia, I've riden through indonesia , island hopping, most of vietnam and bits of thailand, and thought it would make a great destination for their type of adventure.....

The last one they did was absolutely dog crap electric Harley-Davidsons. No one watched it. The figures were terrible.

Adventure touring with following cars, vans and shit, can not be hard. Do it’s real to give the audience something interesting.

Be more comfortable in the support vehicle van

Speeding ebikes and escooters have recently been an issue on the Bristol Railway cycle path. I've been passed by idiots doing about 30mph ...uphill without pedaling. They always like to wear those ninja masks. Even worse are those on black escooters, dressed all in black with no lights.

I just get sad watching this and remembering Long Way Round. Been a lot of bad changes in Ewan’s life since then. Bloody shame.

It were a very good documentations, Long Way Round and Long Way Down. Because of watching them, I bought a BMW GS and enjoyed it 10 years. But all the others were not necessary!
