I don't get it.. Nothing from this video has impressed me honestly. I'm not some ignorant hater or anything I just simply don't understand the appeal to the point where it wins GOTY(5 times apparently..) Could someone please enlighten me on what makes this game stand out from the rest and makes it win GOTY. Again, I'm not hating.

Wow! People who don't like turn-based combat are really toxic. I wonder if I go to a video on God of War combat (or such games) if there will be as many turn-based combat lovers bashing on real-time combat systems. Somehow I doubt it.

They should have added both Tactical Combat Style and Action Combat Style like Dragon Age Inquisition, not all people likes Tactical Camera Combat like this

Obviously people who are calling this combat bad are just sillu geese. If you recreated dnd faithfully the combat would take extra 30 minutes, and be without animation, sounds, or reactions. I was just here to check whether there was Divinity 2's armour system at play, and it isn't. Good to know.

In this game you can become smaller just to make someone grab you and throw you to an enemy. In this game you can transform enemies into sheep’s and burn them alive. The turn based combat is not slow, it just gives you time to realize how much shit you can actually do

Im expecting the valve deckard headset to do all this as a standalone headset, but at the moment , im using a wifi direct connection from a legion go hand held pc making it pretty close to standalone.

I am biased coming from someone who plays high octane games like Smash Melee, DMC, God of War, Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom and Ninja Gaiden, but god damn this is like as far end opposite spectrum in terms of enthralling gameplay. Doesn't even need to be hypersonic fast, I fuck with games like Hollow Knightand Ocarina of Time heavy. This shit looks like the anti game of the year to my eyeballs hahahahaha
