I would like to see the build of this little beasty
salam kenal dari indonesia🇮🇩hadir suport🙏🙏🙏
How big of a pump do you have to have?! That’s awesome
It's a Honda GX200 with a Keene P180 dredge pump. My partner and I have 2 pelton trommels now, I will be sharing more videos of them soon as we get into mining season.
@@tylernelson276 Sweet, not even that much pump thats surprising! I just found your guys channels pretty cool stuff man!
I will be posting vids on a cooperative channel, Alaska Underground. Keep an eye on both channels for videos
Hi Tyler, I'm a producer at RAW TV, we're the producers of Gold Rush and all of its spin off shows. Whats the best way of contacting you?
Y kia he koi information
Awesome ✨⚓️🧲👍
Very cool ⚓️🧲👍✨
I’m impressed with your set up so cool get that shiny ⚓️🧲👍✨
Hi Tyler. I am a casting producer for the Discovery Channel. I am interested in chatting with you regarding your mining operation. How can I get in touch with you? Thanks,
trnelsonak@gmail.com
I have a fully permitted placer mine in British Columbia an hour by highway from Kelowna, easy access. Why don’t you video my trials and tribulations? I’d be interested?
Absolutely beautiful How much did it cost you to make and how long did it take?
Thank you. We started in February and it was mostly complete by May. Just working on weekends. We have been pushing it to its limits this year. We usually run at 45 yards per hour but it has taken material as fast as 60 yards per hour. Our old loader can not keep up at that pace. More videos of the operation hopefully coming this winter when work slows down and I can process my video clips.
@@tylernelson276 awesome work and thanks for answering I have a question if i may Why not make the entire length of the trommel screening plats to increase its capacity i saw macon t trommels with the entire length of the trommel covered with screening plats and its doing +200yph with a 72" trummel
@@drnoureldinsalah1693 The goal is to keep some water held in a section of the drum to help scrub the rocks in that area. I believe keeping material as a slurry through that section helps grind the rocks together ensuring a cleaner wash. The next section is a heavy rinse and the rocks come out very clean.
This is cool. I love that its self built. Keep on keeping on brotha
Hey mate do you have the plans by any chance? this is something we would like to build for our mine here in Australia
The plans are all in my head. Thought about building them for sale during the winter months but this machine is currently the only one. I can try to give you details but building a trommel starts with a drum. Whatever you can find, it's all based around that.

@@tylernelson276 thanks mate. You have done well looks great.
@@jenkosgoldadventures We ran it all last season, it works really well. 30 to 50 yards per hour. Didn't take much video last season but this year I promised myself I would try to get more video to share.
@@tylernelson276 we are looking to build 25 ton per hour
What ended up being the problem?
I was never able to find the source. I literally replaced every part of the differential and gave up and ran the machine anyway. It's maiden voyage proved too slow for my needs and I sold it and purchased a Skandic SWT
Mine makes the same noise. I guess it's normal 🤷
You are loosing gold on that first riffle, can you install a mat similar to a dredge flair just to tame the water coming into the box?
We did, and made more changes to the design. More videos to come.
Deadly video buddy! Nice looking ground!
Gotta say this looks terrible. The drum needs to spin faster to lift the rock much higher up the wall so that it free falls from a higher height. The spray bars need more water at the top of the drum or it needs mixer paddles to atleast make use of that space. You need to add a nugget ring and water retainer at the back end of the drum or you'll loose too much water. Also needs paddles or tumble bars mid way to bust up clay, lift heavy rock, and to better clean/mix the rock. Be sure to use greaseable drum rollers so the grit won't smoke your bearings. Sorry to be a negative nancy but I hate to see you lose potential gold
Thanks for your critique. This was the first test run after we built it. The drum can not be allowed to lift rocks higher, they hit the spray bar and jam the drum to a halt which is really bad for the hydraulic pump, motor, chain, tensioner, and one rock actually bent the spray bar. We also won't be adding any lifters for the same reasons. The bedrock here is very sharp and angular and had a tendency to snag objects in the drum so we went with a different approach to make the water tumble the material (which it does). We also declined to add a 'nugget ring' as there are no nuggets of that size to catch and would reduce throughout too much. The rocks are coming out spotless, even in heavy clay. Last but not least the urethane casters we chose are rated at over 1000lbs a piece and each has greasable bearings. I have heard all sorts of suggestions from all kinds of people. I can assure you every minute detail of this machine was purpose built for a reason. Also it's with noting the machine successfully ran all summer without a hitch and exceeded expectations in all aspects. "Terrible" indeed.
Are you dredging off the steese or taylor highway?
This is my State mining claim on the Steese Highway.
Looks like a blast can't wait to see you guys down there
did u find the problem with your diff mine is making same noise
I never found the source of the noise and sold the machine. If I had another bombi I would rip out the differential and put in a hydrostatic drive similar to that of a mini excavator or skid steer.
that sluice is not right your loosing gold .
haha nice
Cooool! I wish I was there! Looks awesome. Great build-up!
Nice dude!
Did you collect all the little pieces of runoff?
yup, not much in it, most of the gold goes straight in the mold
Is that made out of a propane tank?
+Tanner AK Just the lid. The furnace is a pressure cooker pot, I think, with special material inside to keep the heat in.
amazing!
That is really awesome!
Hey tyler it's tanner I will make shire to like and subscribe!
