So is the Princess Crown translation updated, or is this still the same "released beta"-version that's been out for a couple of months? Because it at least looks like the text aligns better with the speech bubble now.

Tegami and Hamuhamu are releases I haven't even heard of yet, but whoever decided to translate some cheesy anti-piracy propaganda game as well as what I can only see as an early type of shitpost-as-a-game... well, I'd like to shake their hand, they do videogames as a whole a great service. Wish I could be so unreservedly appreciative of Princess Crown though, as it seems mired in controversy. It's technically the beta-version of a translation that's been around for years and is really unpolished and rough, but someone who wasn't part of the team that worked on the translation just took what they had done and published it as a "finished" translation. Sure, that translation WAS open source and while it HAS apparently been worked on since, it was done so under total radio silence so I can understand why someone lost patience and did what they did... but still not a very sporting move.

I posted about the Popolocrois II translation on the jrpg subreddit, but the mod there discarded my post. I ignore what I did wrong.

The difference between the two is that the Japanese version has more DLC. The author called the translation "semi-complete", most of the important parts are translated, but it still has a lot of bugs and limitations. Visit the project's thread for more information. ✙ The patch for Princess Crown (Saturn) is still in an early stage, the script is fully translated, but the font is still in full width and there may be game-breaking bugs. ✙ Grauen no Torikago (Dreamcast) is not actually a game, but a drama series released exclusively for the Dreamcast. Argh, what a disappointment. I saw Surging Aura in the miniature of this video and I thought its English translation was released at last 😅😅

I recently finished Surging Aura (Sega Mega Drive). While playing this game, I encountered a game-breaking bug where the game would soft-lock when certain spells were used. I thought the bug was in the game, but it turned out to be in the emulator I was using, Kega Fusion 3.64 (I know it's super old software, but it works fine, especially on my old laptop). The bug also happened during the credits, when the spells were showcased, so that's why I recorded this video. It plays fine on BlastEm. The game itself was only released in Japan, and there's no English patch yet. There are Russian and French patches though. Will You Report October's Fan Translation Updates I Will see If There Are Any Games Translated

Careful, you're using the obsolete version for Little Vampire (with the numbers sitting on top of the interface and the lack of title screen/music).

The pronouns, can there be a clearer sign of machine-translations than them switching between "him" and "her" all willy-nilly? Alas, it's still better than nothing. Also is "Eggerland" the same situation as Skyblazer, a more "original faithful" retranslation? We did get Lolo in the west, after all. Also, big thanks for doing the work and recapping all these translations!
