@notoo7 Hey I prefer to use the 4X because I have it on the knob and you can dial it down from 0 to whatever and it is way easier to see when you whip that knob to full and just check your AS3X prior to a flight, whereas if you put it on 1X it barely moves and you can barely see it? That's the only reason I hardly ever turn it up past a quarter of the way, which is probably about 1X l o l On the steering gyro, I'm curious about it myself. I'll have to figure out what airplanes I have. That I can even try it on as I'm not a real big tricycle wheel person, but on my EDF's that are extremely hard to take off. That may be the perfect, precise location, for it. As soon as I can get some time away from work, i'm gonna try that out

I'm not sure what the phobia is, but sometimes unless people can see it done. They are afraid of it or they r stand offish at best? And they just don't do the updates hell. 90% of my club, maybe 95% have never updated ever!!

@damonadams8272 yes there is a real version of this plane looks real cool you trailer it with the wings off to the site yahoo want and they show it docked at fabulous yachts ,this one e is just over 24" but there is also an rc version that's a bit bigger

@@tomcat-rc funny you would comment about this plane when I just literally landed well 15 or 20 landings come to find out I wish I could have included this on the video but you can do touch and goes on grass with it it doesn't take off in my grass cuz it's too high but if you come in with enough speed touch it down slide on the grass you can go right back up it's pretty fun I didn't think I was going to like this but I find it myself putting battery after battery into it the wingspan is 24 1/4"

@@spring4522 Exactly, it was reinforced with a strip of basswood from the underside but not enough lol well it ripped out the wood from the flat spot where it was epoxyed

@@coloradofotomatt it's the dual rate if you press it it'll be once if you press it again it'll be twice when it goes to beeping twice that gives you the second rate which is definitely necessary for that thing it flies terrible in the first rate turns like a tank once you engage that second rate it actually flies much better and you can have fun with it

@@Pooley929 Got that figured out last night! Finally had time to power up the '51, step through all the buttons and watch differences in control surface reactions. That was actually helpful to do it. I'm expecting an NX8 next week and hoping to bind to it eliminating the need for this TX.

@@coloradofotomattNote: you will need a remote receiver to do so, it will find directly to open TX models but for Spectrum you will need a remote receiver to do the procedure look at my video closely

@@coloradofotomatt There is an SBUS port that you plug a spektrum receiver in. I did this with an FrSky receiver and it worked but there are different channels used. For example, I believe channel 5 is for flight mode (6G, manual, 3D)

@@dradden1556 wow Mine also crashed a buddy was flying and just had a mishap put it back together already and flew, just haven't posted the video but that video will cover how to repair a retract when the wires are ripped out that should be a good one as well as when the hinges ripped completely off installing two types of replacement hinge the flat ones and the pointy ones Haven't seen that new texture you're speaking about but can't wait that should be cool I have been eyeing the new F-16 at the local shop he randomly got one in which I thought was a weird move probably be on my skill level at this point unless I just want to waste money beating a plane up Plus in the F-16 which I have seen around my field have been notoriously too fast to land and I don't want to deal with that

@@dradden1556 funny thing is when I read the comment I did laugh, I actually looked this thing up as I had never heard of it prior to getting it and I saw the real version it's actually a very cool thing people park this at their yacht remove the wings for travel like this is actually a small little cool thing that people buy who are rich enough that is, in the RC spectrum though you're correct I'm not really into this type thing but it was fun

@@GrogHambone previous comment was that there was nothing wrong with the prop size and it was stalling due to turn me into slow which I agree upon which is why I stated the prop size was wrong The bird was at full throttle most of this time with a 7x5 prop most people fly in it that I have talked to are at like a 8x6 which we just wanted to get the review done so I understand you guys are critical but we didn't have a prop at the field at the time to properly power it at any rate the pilot who I gave the plane to after did his repairs and flies the plane fine now with the correct size prop fine threw the turns I can post a video of that if you all would like to see his turns now with the correct prop just let me know Thanks for stopping by thanks for watching thanks for comments

@@JDDupuy totally agreed like I said I definitely wouldn't recommend over the better options and of course we did crash it also, second flight okay but seems like it's only good when it's under a lot of power but at that point the wings flex not recommended

@Pooley929 agree. Idk why arrows stopped selling this plane. Its perfect size and power. Idk. I dont get it. Its a really nice looking bird

@@jonnycatt138 shaking my head on it often but FMS did have a p-47 in the 980 mm size also so there are some relics out there that can be found now and then but the p-40 is the only thing that you can still buy new but not always to be honest sometimes it's sold out

@@coloradofotomatt I've had a few bad experiences dealing with being good at this point I think I'm completely done with them it was a nightmare dealing with that plane I had to end up settling with them for a $50 credit which I used to buy a flight controller on Amazon never having to deal with them ever again mine was bad out of the box after that it flew pretty good at ultimately ended up giving it to a buddy I work with it's a very cool plane larger than the 400 series which makes it quite unique when everybody else is flying the small war birds the directions are a joke Hope my video helped though getting you in the air
