I got the Funky Lake as well and it's such a beautiful teal. I love it!
such an inspiring idea for using the 5 year journey for your kids!
Thoroughly enjoyed your unboxings- great 2025 Hobonichi picks! ❤️
Thank you so much!
A good variety of items! I usually buy on the first day but with all the problems, I'm glad I waited. I'm filling my cart, it's scary the amt that I'm racking up. I'm torn between the Avec which I currently use and love, and the Hiroko Kubota Hon - I love her art work. I'm glad you're showing it. thanks!
Such a fun haul! Thank you for sharing! Love the corner and side punch idea!! ❤❤
Thanks!!
Nooooo I just started feeling okay about not getting the Rainbow HON. D:
There's still time! :D
LMAO!! I did the SAME thing! I got the Crescent Moon A5 and then the Unsodo A6. I have the same issue. Don't know what I need if for but I'll find something!
Whoa, that's wild! Aren't they gorgeous? It'll be a fun journey figuring out what to use them for. Can't wait!
Ugh! I should have gotten the stapo!!
I ended up buying my bigger one in the summer b/c I really wanted it - no regrets!
Oh wow the weeks covers are beautiful I’m interested in that 5 year journal
The indent system is a great idea. I also got the crescent moon Hon and my order was shipped yesterday I can't wait to get it! I love the way your 2024 cousin is decorated.
Thank you! Enjoy your HON too! I can't wait.
I have A5 Hon fits in Aura Estelle cover only slide in back and I love cause I can see front of book
I love your punch system - great idea - I also don't like tabs sticking out!
You mentioned you had a few pictures in your 5-year techo for your son. This is something i have been wondering about because i really want to get a 5 year but i have seen those terrifying videos where the 5 years binding does not hold up if you add stickers and pics etc. So it is fine if i add the occasional picture or postcard?
Definitely. At least, mine has held up fine. I probably have about 10 photos/month (more for vacation months and birthdays) and it's held up great!
@@penpaper19 That's a relief! tx.
Your punch tab system is so clever!!!
Thanks!
did you have to pay custom and fees on your orders?
Nope. Over the past decade, I've probably ordered from Japan about 50 times and I've never had to pay customs or fees.
23:57 No need to wait. Go ahead and put some of that Narrow paper in the Plotter and start carrying it around. It's a bit narrower, but should fit in the rings, right? By the time 2025 comes around, you can have the binder broken in. 😊
That's a really good point. I don't know why I have these self-imposed rules on things like this...
I have Wizard’s Pencil as well! Such a beautiful gray.
Traumatized at a pen show? I'm gonna avoid them in the future.
I was at the SF pen Show Friday and Saturday. Saturday was nuts! Nice haul! I missed out on somethings. It happens when it’s so packed. Until next year!
Good call not going on Saturday! It was so packed in the main showroom that I couldn't even walk :-(
I think I'll avoid Saturdays from now on!
I love colorverse too!!! I need to get that blue dragon now..
The glitter ones were lovely too, but I don't end up using glitter inks that much anymore.
@@penpaper19 Me, neither because I can't really put those in my normal fountain pens. It's too much work to get glass pens out with a cup of water and all that. Just using pens with inks already loaded.. lol
I'm glad you had such a good time. I was there but didn't know anyone. Still had fun though.
It was lovely to hear about your experiences in the pen show and the things your kids picked. I liked their choices :) Your mini penroll was soooo cute. I did not see that when I went to their booth but I felt dazed after seeing too many things. The kiss-cut sticker roll was neat. I saw them but did not know about that feature. The pen your daughter got from Rubato was beautiful. I was told that the cap/pen section flowers are real pressed flowers and weeds. The flex pen she had was unique, she had put a unique feed on top of the nib to give enough ink to avoid railroading which is common in flex pens. Do you remember how much you paid for the pen from Rubato? Your plotter looked stunning!! The lines and the crowds were overwhelming after the doors opened for the public, it must have been easy to have missed the long line of people waiting for the plotter table 🙃
Thank you! I think the Rubato pen was $100 - it's adorable!
MP is out of business and the other is CRAZY expensive and only has 9 items in stock. Oh well....
Your sensibilities-all of them-are so cleverly and aesthetically informed…(naturally, they replicate mine almost exactly). I sense kindred spirituality! 😊
Nice… I love it… can you share the order details for it, so that I can make an order for exactly the same… Thanks…

Got my first olive passport about 2 months ago….and it does naturally distress easier than the other leathers. That is absolutely beautiful! Enjoy!
This is beautiful 😍
Beautiful! And as you use it, it will lighten into more of an olive ☺️
A beauty
It’s absolutely beautiful!! The nude and olive leathers compliment each other so beautifully! I would love to customize my Midori, I’m hoping they will carry the wallet insert so I send mine in. 😊
Thank you for sharing! I bought the Falling Star Sparklers as well - I hesitated because the cover was glossy and that's not really my thing - but that cover THOUGH! So beautiful! No regrets
I got the water green, it’s beautiful ❤ it is also very similar to the Filofax Norfolk sage
Loved your selections! I am not a cat person either, but the Weeks’ Falling Star Sparkler design was so beautiful, had to buy it
I’m happy to see you got your order in a box. I feel sad for everyones boxes ruined! Happy Journaling! 🎉
Hey! It's been a really long time since I saw your content! I'm happy you have been working on yourself and on your plans/thoughts, but I really missed your videos ahahha. An indication that I would do if it was on your interest, is that I belive you could try to find other kind of series that envolve your same enthusiasm with stationery artifacts but without needing to by more of then, like tips to organize your plans etc. Please, don't stop creating contente here, this shoud recieve more recognition, the world needs your creativity!!! Ahahah
That's so nice of you! Thank you!
good morning~Penpaper19~ epic done! talk to you soon. ))
Have you thought about using Swedish dishcloths? Instead of the mechanic cloths? They are excellent for watercolor.
I haven't thought about that! Thanks for the suggestion - I'm going to go look into this now!
You could cut a circular hole in the foam core for the collapsible water cup to sit in
I have always done smaller watercolor paintings and never needed much with me but it was always taking up so much space... this helped me deciding if I wanted to make the investment or not in the toolkit and things. I'm super excited to get that in the mail.
I have one of those and love it. I actually go lighter for day to day - just pencils and pens and a small toned sketchbook for my purse. But the art tool kit goes with me when I know I am going to be out of the house for more than just a few hours or days. It's perfect for our camping trips.
I need the same setup and it’s been a struggle! And rings don’t work I need a binded book. I use a moleskine weekly planner my only complaint is that it doesn’t have enough note pages and A LOt of extra pages I didn’t need and I wish it had the monthly- weekly alternate. I’m here to view the your review your ardium to see if i want to do that or the moleskine.
What is the link to the class you took?
I got one of those silicone cups with a lid, with my menstrual cup, for cleaning it in.
I bought a drawing kit that had everything you needed to draw and more. Very happy with it, it included the blinder naturally. So much easier than buying everything separately. Have since purchased two more to donate at Christmas to children/teens.
An Art Journal for Inspiring Quotes and your beautiful art to decorate around the quote!
Keep making a great video, I enjoy watching!!! Your best option is to make an account with "Promo SM"!!!
Patty- I m a big fan of gansai so these paints are definitely of interest to me. I love the vibrancy of the colors. I imagine they are a dream to laydown. Enjoy!
Love that little pouch-which it was a bit less expensive though.
