This is better than a checking account--MUST WATCH
If you’re looking for a way to simplify your finances, earn you more interest on your cash than the traditional checking account, and have your spending, savings, and investments all in one place-a cash management account might be what you’re looking for. If you’ve never heard of a cash management account before, you’re not alone. The vast majority of Americans use a checking account that pays 0% or close to that to receive direct deposits, pay bills, write checks, etc. But I’m all about making my money work harder than I do. So in the course of researching the best checking account for my own personal money management, which also offers a good interest rate, I came across this type of ac...

I also love to make my money work harder than I do. I have both the Fidelity and Schwab cash management accounts.

Too bad it doesn't offer Zelle. The IRS is going after Venmo, Cash app and PayPal users.
SOLIS is my favorite. Just started looking. Probably buy used. Want Diesel V6 Thanks 👍 Robert Peltier
Are you still using your van? Or did you get tired of it?!
@@drdeliciousful Yes, we’re still using the van. We just took it to the International Hot Air Balloon Festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Very useful information. Thank you
Hi, what’s your mpg?
Oh and thanks for the tip regarding the 2023 models and newer! Those are things that take digging to find out. I assume one being a better camera for parking, etc? If there is one thing on the Mercedes Sprinter that's awesome, it's the 360 camera...wish all cars had it!
Hi! Thanks for the tips and the great video! We now have a family of 3 and originally purchased a Sprinter 4x4 but no longer have the time or motivation to DIY build. Our son is now 2.5 and I want to take him for adventures. I just noticed maybe the same place in Mississippi. I'm hoping we can sell our van and not pay too much more to get into a Solis. Think that's smart? I'm very glad you feel like it's an amazing choice. Cheers!
11:34 MSRP on new vans don’t mean much. Hi mai I’m a new subscriber on the market for the same camper you purchased. What does MSRP doesn’t mean much mean? Can I pay you for a telephone consultation? Thanks!
Thanks for info
how long did it take you to drive home from the dealership?
3 days. I spent one night in Dallas and one night near White Sands NM.
@@mia-pham Thanks. The 2025 Solis 59P is around $115K but it has the AC. Can you stay in the van in the summer without it?
@@letruong1 I am in Southern California so we’ve been fine without AC but if you live in a place with humidity, like Florida, then I would recommend getting AC. $115k for a 59P with AC is kind of high though.
@@mia-pham I'm in San Jose. There is a 2024 59P in Illinois for $90K w/o AC. I'm still debating w/ or w/o AC.
Hi, do you mind sharing how do you like this van in this summer having no AC? Also how was it in the winter without heat if you used it last winter? That's one of the cons i see in this van, no ac/heat when parked
We are in the west coast so we don’t really have a need for AC (if we lived in a place like Florida, we would have gotten it with the rear AC). We do bring a portable fan to keep us cool when it gets a little warmer. The van has a heater that runs on propane. It’s very efficient to keep the entire van warm.
@@mia-phamthanks for the reply. I'm assuming it wasn't too hot in the places during your travel in the summer. I'm just thinking the few occasions when we camp in places that may be hot even at night, what to do. We currently camp without ac as well but researching some places that we are interested in going but still 80s at night... Thanks for the info and happy travel!
Thank you for all the info. Its been very helpful because I probably will get one in the near future..I am just wondering if you had attached the deanship info that you got your RV?
Webull’s & MooMoo is offering 8%
Thanks for the honest payment.
Yeah Bill Perkins, die with zero it wasn't a bad book. Do you play Poker?
I thought Fidelity charges a 1% fee on overseas withdrawals?
Fidelity charges a 1% foreign transaction fee when you use the debit card for a debit transaction. When you use it for ATM withdrawals, there is no foreign transaction fee and no ATM withdrawal fee.
Does the Fidelity Cash Mgmt Account allow it to be titled in your trust? Schwab and TIAA bank accounts allow that, but I’m looking for a custodian for rollover IRA and a cash management account.
Great review and additional insight! I’ll be price negotiating for sure! My only issue with the pop top is that it will only be useable if the weather is good and the temperature is just right. Otherwise, I think it would be uncomfortable for anyone utilizing that space and you certainly don’t want the rain causing damage. I can also see the pop top interfering with the overall temperature inside the RV. I also didn’t know that you could request not to have an AC. Correct me if I’m wrong but you don’t necessarily have to be connected to shorepower to run the AC. I just can’t imagine being without it especially if you’re traveling to warmer climates. I don’t know how you manage without the AC. l can’t remember how the back bed situation is but I also didn’t know that you could opt for a sofa/futon. Regarding the additional sleeping space in the front cabin, I believe that Winnebago gave an inflatable mattress for the front cabin that looks more comfortable than the one you demonstrated.
Great job on all the details about buying your RV. I hope to buy a similar just with the A/C in the back. I hope you do a follow up video soon about some of the experience on your travels. T’ll then happy travels!
Thanks. Can you redeem several at a time? or, only one at a time?
Yes, you can redeem several at a time.
Outstanding and thorough description. Thanks for the presentation.
Mia, Please marry me! You rock!
How did you pay below the MSRP again?
Which dealership did you get it from ?
www.van.life in Mississippi.
Fidelity Cash Management for the win! Fidelity is my 1 stop shop!
What model is it though 🤔
It’s the Solis 59P.
Just what I was looking for. Great video. Thank you.
I have patriot bond.how i can cash my patriot bond?i am from the philippines .filipino citizen
Nice research and great points
Great buy! I had an odd question in your opinion you think it could be used as a daily driver with the kid stuff run around, and i started looking but cant find gas mileage thats consistent on that van, looks like prices are coming down as the next year models rolling in 2025, and still have a bit of 2023 models new. Thank you for the effort u put into ur videos.
We’ve used it as a daily driver before when one of our other vehicles broke down. It gets about 17-18 mpg.
what do you do for AC in the van? did you buy a portable unit?
I’m in SoCal so we haven’t had a need for AC but Winnebago was running a promotion in the spring where they included an EcoFlow Wave 2 Portable AC/Heater with the purchase of a Solis 59P.
Can both parents buy I bonds for kids as minor ? We have 2 kids, Can i buy1 for myself, my daughter and my son and my wife can do the same so altogether we will have 6 for our family ?
You can both buy it, but the limit of $10k is per social security number, so the work around is to buy them as gifts and deliver them later if you want to lock in the fixed rate.
Hi have you taken this van on any steep hills? How does it perform? My promaster struggles on steep hills.🤔
I went with fidelity bloom. The saving seems like it sweeps it to their money market account. So it's like 4.4% yield. I was able to pay bills with it. I think bloom might be better. Not sure what drawbacks are.
Mia, thank you for your great work and video info! Can you share the name of the RV dealer in Mississippi where you purchased yours? I subscribed and will tell others about your wonderful channel and details ! thanks again, Rob
Hi! It was with Brian from www.van.life (website).

Fidelity account is really good! Wish they would add Zelle.

12:45 you can take a personal loan at a lower interest rate to perform DIY build?
